Lets talk with the 5 rating points.Power- This mower has a 24 HP Kawasaki Homeowner which if properly maintained will last a very long time. This engine produces almost 40 ft pounds of torque, what does the comparable briggs produce? They don't say wonder why? Engine is more than capable of mowing at high speeds through thick grass with 52 inch cut even mulching doesn't choke it down.Durability- thick gaged welded deck with lifetime warranty in the welds, that's definitely durable. Heavy duty spindles, Kawi engine with cast iron sleeves and oil pump. If used to mow grass and do sensible chores with mower will last over a decade.Ergonomics- Drives almost 8mpg and on flat ground mowing at fast speed is just nice, not many tractor mowers move over 5mpg. Controls all right where you need them, battery is easy to remove and oil change is simple. Front bumper supports mower if you use a chain to hoist it up. Deck wash system which is awesome if you're lazy like me, mulch kit is easy to install and uninstall in minutes. Engine runs efficiently for power output, and I got a cup holder so I can mow longer without getting off.Performance- Best mulching lawn tractor I have used, pulls cart of firewood effortlessly, mows at fast speeds, doesn't bog down even in tall thick wet grass, and do it all pretty comfortably with a cut of lemonade sitting in reach.Value- If I went to John Deere or Kubota I may be able to find tougher lawn tractor with more features. If I asked them for a mower that compared to this one and asked them for a quote, it would cost almost twice what the price of this beautiful masterpiece of a mower did. Husqvarna did it great and did it for less than the others, I am very pleased with this mower, you will be too.

I'm torn because I want to love this tractor. Has a great engine, rides nice, and is powerful. While I will agree the fab deck will take a beating, the cut quality is terrible. I've tried everything from making sure tire pressure is good, deck is level, changed blades, bought a mulch kit with blades, and still can not get a nice even cut. I even jack up the mower and wash the deck clean so to start fresh every time I cut. The first few passes are great. Once any grass gets built up in the deck the cut quality suffers immensely. I have 1.5 acres to mow. For how much I spent it is very frustrating. My solution is to have them replace the fab deck with a stamped deck in hopes of better air flow, thus a better cut.

I have been using this system for a year now and feel qualified to review it now. Lets start by discussing the engine. The engine is a very nice and ample powered Kawi that is much quieter than other comparable sized engines for this size mower. It works without hesitation. The hydro tranny is very capable and the fast forward speed is insanely fast for mowing and quite honestly, you would never use I would think. Now to a few issues or points I dislike. The deck is built like a battleship, however, getting the deck leveled and cutting perfect is a pain on this mower. It has only a draw type bar on the front for lowering and raising and they angled the bolt upwards so using a socket is impossible!!! Why they did that is beyond me other than they were afraid if it worked off through vibration it would fall easily to the ground. Well, even angled up it will do that as well. I really wished it was parallel to the horizon for easy adjustment via a socket. Get out the ole trusty crescent wrench my friends. Now to the rear height adjustment. Not overly complicated at all, but here we go folks, a bear to get dialed in and the least and I mean the least not dialed in the results are a stepped cut. I have to tweak mine every other month almost. So while this not hard, it is just a pain. You would think mower companies would have leveling decks down to turn dials for front and back and easily done by the 21st century! To the cut when it is dialed in.......beautiful. This mower has a neat built in trickle charge receptacle that you hook a Husky trickle into or you can use a plain ole trickle charger. But for roughly $50, the OEM Husky made on is as easy as it gets and rather neat and has lasted me since day one. Now to gas guzzling......at first this unit seemed to drink the gas but now it has leveled to a point of getting 3-4 cuts per almost full tank which is 4 gallons. Not too bad. About out of characters so cannot go on.
GT52XLS- Awesome Tractor.
I bought My GT52XLS a year ago at a local dealer. I love the tractor, it is so much better than my previous tractor. Build quality is good, stands up to all I dish out to it! My only complaint is the rear differential is not locking. I wanted the Kawasaki engine and am Sooo glad I got it. this motor purrs like a kitten. just wish it came with a locking diff. All in all, Great tractor!! Must have for yard work, if you have a big yard!

I just bought this mower yesterday and it seems to be everything as advertised. I spent a lot of time researching before selecting this mower. It turns well, has power and can run when you need it to. I'll write another review later after it has some hours on it.
I absolutely love my Garden

I bought this Garden Tractor, I got the recommendation from a friend who owns a Husqvarna zero turn. I saw this Garden Tactor and I fell in love with it. I'm a big guy so the ride is very comfortable. The one thing that drives me crazy is the seat. The seat slides when I hit a bump, but I can live with that. The tractor is very fast, especially when I'm cutting without the bagger. This tractor takes on hills and slopes like a champ! I also, bought a trailer to just in case my Aunt calls me to gather up leaves.

Versatile Garden Tractor
from Livingston County Michigan
My Husky is now three years old with 160 hours on the engine. I bought it hoping it would be up to prepping soil and planting grass on 2.5 bare acres. I was not disappointed. It easily pulled a rake, spreader and roller for hours. Of course with a new yard comes wet spots, uneven ground and bare spots, which means hauling loads of topsoil and sand--no problem for this 24hp tractor. It really is a workhorse.I now have 2.5 acres of lush lawn to mow, and before I planted trees I could get it done in 90 minutes, but now it takes close to two hours. This tractor is fast and powerful, and bogs down only when it passes through the thick grass over the septic field. One day I raced my neighbor and his popular brand zero-turn. On our 400' lawn track the Husky won by a good 50 feet. The only shortcomings I have found is that the cut is not even on turns, and that there are three blades to maintain. Like many other Husky owners I can't fet enough seat time, and am very pleased what I got for my money.

Good tractor with quality control issues!
Tractor was delivered to me with the MAIN DRIVE BELT installed wrong by factory/dealer. I used the tractor for 2 years and developed drive issues going forward and backward. Decided to change main drive belt and discovered it was installed WRONG by factory/dealer with steering column in the middle of the belt so I had to cut the belt off to remove it!!!!!! This is bad to say the least and QUALITY CONTROL apparently does not matter. Made in America use to mean quality... but not anymore.
I would buy this product again

Good Tractor that could be Great
I waited to review this tractor for 2 years and mowing about 3 acres of land, flat and rolling. PROS -Kawasaki engine is powerful, dependable and durable.Cutting deck is rugged, heavy duty and bomb proofTransmission good so far Tractor is FAST (when drive belt is not slipping)CONS - Belt drive system is the worst and you should plan to CONSTANTLY adjust it. This is BAD engineering issue and could be fixed. Bell clutch mechanism is very poorly designed, hard to reach or clean so constantly lose forward and backward drive. i would not buy another tractor because of this issue, it's that bad. Center spindle grease fitting is very difficult to reachCutting deck front roller hangs down, not easy to adjust, drags on groundGrass accumulates badly under cutting deck no matter how well you clean itHigh maintenance issues too keep running and cutting grass well
