I purchased a 576xp chainsaw from my local Husky dealer. The saw came with a 24" bar and chain. This is my first Husky saw. I normally use dolmars, and stihls. All I can say is this saw has exceeded all my expectations, and some more! It cuts faster than my stihl ms 460 in pin oak. I am really happy with the purchase. It's lighter, and just a pleasure to run all day. The anti-vib sys. is awesome! you can run this saw full throttle all day, and not have your hands fall asleep.

i am a logger that works 7 days a week alot. this was my 2nd 576. it didnt even last 90 days before the barrings went out. i went 2 years before trying it again. same thing happened to me again. husqavarna took care of me both times first time they gave me a 372 nice saw but lasted 4 months. this time going to try 390 hope i have better luck or i will have to go to stihl. i really like the 576 and it would be great for cutting fire wood on the weekends but running it 10 to 12 hours a day it wont last. if it lasted at least a year i would buy one every year i really like the power it has. it really rips when it is running.

Great Power to Weight Ratio

About Me Professional
Comments about HUSQVARNA 576 XP®:
I started running Poulan saws in the eighties, then bought a Husqvarna 61 in 1991. Moved up to 357XP in 2003. That saw must have 2000 hours on it, still runs like new. Needed bigger saw to run a 32 inch bar. The 576XP is my favorite now. Run a full skip chain, great power to weight with little vibration. Owned about 6 months now, makes cutting and bucking big red oak and poplar a piece of cake. Great balance even with 32" bar.

Can never go wrong with a Husqvarna
By Tripp Jones
from West Virginia, Kentucky, Tennessee,
I have a 2014 year model of this saw, i chose not to go with the Auto Tune, to new to take the risk after all these saws are how i feed my family. I mostly use this saw for felling, putting trees on the ground. I run a 28" Oregon Power Match bar, and i also have a 32" Husky bar that came with the saw. I run mine with a full wrap handle heavy duty felling dogs and would somebody please make a DUEL PORT MUFFLER for this saw, i think it would wake it up just enough to really make a noticable difference. This saw is heavy, so i also have a Husqvarna 562 xp in the arsenal that dosent get the arms burning quite as fast.
Powerful Saw

I purchased this saw August 2014. I run it most with a 36" skip tooth chain and am amazed at how it cuts oak and hickory with the same ease as when I use the 24" regular tooth chain. It starts easily. I added dual "dogs" as soon as I got the saw to replace the standard single dog; I always use 93 octane fuel. Biggest tree was a 64" oak.

Great Saw, Bad dealer
By MarshView

Picked up a new 576XP today.$889.95 MSRP? I don't know what happened to that price because the dealer charged me $949.00 for it! On top of that, I received no manual, or scabbard to protect the chain, just the saw...On a better note, the saw started right up and ran perfectly. 20" logs were cut like butter.

This is the best saw ever!!
By Boone
from parrottsville
This saw has no problem getting the job done, everything that I put it up against it handled no problem, I burred it in to a 34" red oak and it didn't even know it was in a piece of wood. The hickory doesn't phase it at all I love this saw well worth the money and I bought a six pack of oil and got another year warranty for a total of three years. Great buy!!!!

Powerful, Low Vibe, East starting saw
By Dank
from Madison
I bought one of these in the spring and have cut about 4-5 cords of firewood with it so far. Mostly Elm and Oak here in WI, and I am running a 24" bar with full chisel chain. It cuts through hardwood like butter and is very fuel efficent for something with this much power. It is a tad bit hefty, but would you expect anything else for a 70+ cc saw!?!
