Why is there excessive vibration while using my lawn mower?

While using your lawn mower, you may notice excessive vibration.

Common reasons for excessive vibration

Incorrectly attached blades

The blades may not have been attached correctly after they have been replaced.

In this case, the blades can become unbalanced and cause vibration.

It is necessary to balance the blade after it is replaced or sharpened. Let a service centre sharpen, replace and balance the blade. If you hit an obstacle that causes the product to stop, replace the damaged blade. Let the service centre determine if the blade can be sharpened or must be replaced.

Cutting high and wet grass

If the grass is high and wet, it will be harder to cut it. Setting a low cutting height may cause excessive vibrations to your lawn mower.

Start cutting the grass with a higher cutting height, then lower the cutting height and cut the same area again. This will make it easier to cut the grass and there will be less strain on your product.

Damaged engine

If one of the engine cylinders is broken or damaged, you may experience vibration and the sound of the product will be different.

In this case, please contact your local authorised Husqvarna dealer.

Incorrect fuel type

Using the incorrect type of fuel for your lawn mower can cause unwanted vibration and excessive noise. Using the incorrect type of fuel can damage the engine.

When putting fuel into the product, make sure to use the correct one. The specific type of fuel for your lawn mower model can be found in the operator's manual.
