Why does the position of my machine not update when I use the Husqvarna Fleet Services™ mobile app?

If you cannot see the latest position of your machine when using the Husqvarna Fleet Services™ mobile app, check the following:

  • Make sure that the Husqvarna Fleet Services™ machine sensor has battery power and that the LED is blinking.
  • Make sure that your Husqvarna Fleet Services™ device has Internet access.
  • Make sure that location services and Bluetooth are turned on and that you have given the Husqvarna Fleet Services™ app permission to use location services and Bluetooth. See below instructions for iPhone and Android.

If all of the above are okay, but you still cannot see the latest position, let the app run for at least one minute and then refresh the machine list and machine sensor details in the Husqvarna Fleet Service web or Husqvarna Fleet Services™ app that you are using.

iPhone

  1. Check that Bluetooth is enabled on your phone: Turn on Bluetooth.
  2. Check that you have enabled Bluetooth access for the Husqvarna Fleet Services™ app:
    1. Tap on Settings.
    2. Select Husqvarna Fleet Services™.
    3. Turn on Bluetooth.
    4. Set Location to Always on or While using the app.
Which location option to choose depends on how you want to use the app. Normally it is enough to select While using the app. Then the position of the machines will be synced as long as the app is open. This will save battery life of your phone. But if you want to be able to sync the position of your machines even though the app is not open, select Always on. Then you will always be able to track down any machines that you may have forgotten somewhere out in the field. But note that Always on will drain the battery of your device faster than normal.

Android

  1. Check that location access is enabled for your phone: Turn on location access for your phone.
  2. Check that location access is enabled for the Husqvarna Fleet Services™ app: Turn on location permission for an app.
  3. Check that Bluetooth is enabled in your phone settings: Turn on Bluetooth.
