The shelf life of Husqvarna‘s BLi batteries is approximately 18 months.

During this period, you can store them on a shelf without rising deep discharge.

Prolonged BLi-X battery storage

If you plan to store your BLi-X battery for a longer period of time, make sure that it‘s always charged to about 50% during the shelf life period.

To reach 50% state of charge, discharge the battery until only two state of charge LEDs are left or put a discharged battery in a battery charger and disconnect it from the charger when the third state of charge LED starts to blink.

If you need to store your BLi batteries for a longer period of time, you should check the state of charge from time to time and charge the batteries if needed to avoid them getting deeply discharged.
