No loop signal – Automower® error message

When your Automower® charging station displays a flashing blue light and the message No loop signal appears in the Automower®Connect app, it indicates that the mower cannot detect the expected signal. In installations with a physical boundary wire, this typically means the signal from the wire is missing or disrupted. In EPOS wire free installations, the issue is usually related to the charging station itself. Below are the most common causes and how to resolve them.

For installations with a physical boundary wire

  1. Power supply issues: There is no power supply to the charging station. The power supply unit may be disconnected from the wall socket or a house fuse may have blown.
  2. Faulty connection to charging station: The boundary wire is not properly connected to the charging station. Learn how to solve it: How to connect the boundary and guide wires to the Automower® charging station
  3. Broken or damaged boundary wire: The boundary wire may have been cut off or damaged during gardening. Troubleshoot and fix the issue following our step-by-step guide on How to find and repair a wire break in your Automower® installation.

  • Navigate to Map > Map objects > Charging station > Reinstall
  • Select Current charging station
  • Follow the steps in the app to create a new docking point.
  1. Charging station incorrectly assembled

Ensure that the charging station is assembled correctly. Perform the following checks and watch the video below for a visual guide.

  • Disconnect and reconnect the cable from the rubber grommet to the charging station.
  • Ensure that the low-voltage cable is correctly connected.

  1. Using Support by Wire?

If you are using Support by Wire in your EPOS installation, a broken or damaged wire could also be the cause of a flashing blue light in the charging station. Refer to the section above on physical boundary wire troubleshooting.
