Husqvarna — one of the world’s leading producers of forest, park and garden products — introduces two pro-laminated bars, developed specially for forestry experts and users with demanding needs, giving users increased productivity as well as improved durability.
Both the 3/8” X-Force & 0.325” bars give users better productivity when cutting, due to the new bearing system with supporting shields. These shields give better support to the bearings, which translates into a stronger and more reliable bar that is less prone to bending or breaking. This is a great feature for professionals, especially when working in harsh conditions that puts more strain on the bar.

To make way for the supporting shields, the grease hole has also been removed. Not only does this prevent dirt from getting into the bearings and clogging them, but it also eliminates the need to grease the bar, since it has been greased from the factory. This means an increase in productivity and less breaks in between cuts, since foresters don’t have to continually re-grease the bar for smooth operation.
3/8” X-Force Bar
The 3/8” X-Force bar has been designed with an updated profile by increasing the radius of the nose, which prevents the “hourglass effect”. This new design provides a better transition of the chain between the bar and the nose wheel. Ten more bearings have been added on the 3/8” X-Force bar to increase it to 31 bearings, which strengthens the nose further and reduces wear on the bar for an extended product lifetime. There are also cut-outs in the centre plate on the X-Force bar, which lowers the weight of the product, and is a great benefit for users working long hours because it decreases user strain as well. With a larger nose sprocket, and an increased number of rivets from four to six, these bars have a stronger nose with less wear on the bearings, so that the bar can be used for an increased amount of cutting time.
The 3/8” X-Force bar is available from Month X at Husqvarna dealers, starting at XXXX Euros/Dollars/SEK/XXX.
The 0.325” bar has a reinforced bar nose, increasing the strength of the bar to make it more robust and more reliable. The optimized geometry of the plates and the nose wheel on the 0.325” bar also results in a lower risk of pinch damage while cutting through thicker trees, reducing the risk of damage to the nose sprocket.
