A true professional saw in the larger mid-size class, built for very demanding applications. Equipped with X-TORQ engine with reduced fuel consumption and exhaust emissions. The crankcase and crankshaft are extra heavy-duty and the carburettor has vibration damping in order to handle high speeds and high loads. The saw combines low weight, high power and rapid acceleration with flexible operation.

About Me Professional
Comments about HUSQVARNA 372 XP® X-TORQ:
I am a contractor that bought a 372 xp saw for milling. Took it to the job and strapped a Mark IV Alaskan mill to it and went to town on black walnut beam slabs with ease. Super impressed

The Saw of Saws

About Me Do-It-Yourself
The 372XP is hands down my favorite saw! It's the perfect combination of power, reliability, and simplicity. It starts with ease, usually on the second pull and doesn't flood if you know how to start a saw like this. Of all my saws, this is the one I wouldn't be without!
A Real Powerhouse

The 372XP is the flagship chainsaw in the larger size category and easily blasts it way through the large, harder wood species with ease. This saw would be overkill for the average homeowner but for pros and large land owners, owning this saw is a must in my book.

I wouldn't buy any other saw, but the Husqvarna 372XP.
from Denver, Colorado
I cut 10 to 20 cords of hard woods, Ash, and Locust in the area I live, once in awhile I get to cut some Scrub Oak, and its got to be the hardest wood in the US, and this eats it like candy. Best saw I've got, over several Pro Stihls in my garage. Nobody comes close to the power to weight ratio of this saw, let alone reliability!!

Big Power when needed
I bought this saw to add to my collection including a 15 year old 257 and a 36, a couple Stihls, and others. This thing rips through the wood! I got both the 24 and 28 inch bars so I have enough bar for the big wood. No power issues at all. As a big saw, it does get heavy, and I'm a big guy! Also it likes to flood when you use the decompression button. It's easy enough to pull without that. It always starts in just a few pulls without the decomp. I hope this lasts as long as my older Huskys! Time will tell, but so far, so good!

Can't be stopped!
This is my first professional saw that I bought as an upgrade to a 450 rancher. This thing can not be stopped. This is the best saw I have ever ran, hands down.It eats through Maple and Oak like nothing. As far as the saying "time is money", I can cut much faster with this saw instead of using my 450 rancher. The 450 just can't do what this can. There is no comparison.I do believe this is a safer saw due to the fact that It just cuts and cuts and doesn't get bogged down or kick around in the kerf due to lack of powerSome thoughts:This is big, and it is heavy compared to my other saw. It is not for limbing in my opinion, which is why it's nice to have multiple saws. However, I did not buy it for limbing.Sometimes It hesitates and sounds like it wants to quit when I go to make a cut. This was a new saw straight out of the store, so maybe it needs adjusted a bit. Once it gets revved, it's a monster.I was looking for something that I could rip through large hardwood sections with, bolt my Lewis Winch onto so I can skid logs, and something I can mill lumber with on an Alaskan chainsaw mill. This fits the bill without going over the top for cc's. It's everything I need for some serious work.
