I've had this unit for a year and love it. I only use the Husqvarna premix fuel and it still runs like new. I've never had any issues starting and the performance is excellent. The cruise control is a very handy feature although I do get some numbness from the vibration after more than an hour of use. I do use it as a vacuum each fall and have not found and issues with the metal mulching blade or plastic impeller. As other have said, the vacuuming setup doesn't put you in the most ergonomical position, but I have a bad lower back and I can find a position such that it doesn't bother me. It takes some trail and error to get max efficiency out of vacuuming. The ease of clogging will depend on the leaf moisture and non-leaf material (sticks, pine needles, etc). I use a skimming motion over the top of the leaf pile and rarely get clogs. You just have to realize it is sucking more than it appears, and it helps to occasionally loft the pile between bag dumps instead of vacuuming packed leaves at the bottom of the pile. There's only 2 issues I'd note. The vac tube connection is really lame and breaks easily. I swapped mine out at the store after 2 uses and I've been gentle with it ever since. Husky should redesign or sell just the connection ring instead of charging $40 for a replacement kit when all you need is the collar. The other minor issue I've noticed is that fuel leaks onto my leg when vacuuming if I've just filled the tank up.I wondered about the 16:1 vac/mulch ratio and attached the pictures to show how this pile about 9ftx9ftx3ft fit into just over three 39gal bags. (kid is just over 4 ft tall for scale.) It took me about an hour and a tank of gas. Vacuuming is a not that much quicker than bagging manually, but its MUCH less work and obviously less bags to haul.

There were 2 major issues with this blower: 1) a little over a year after purchasing it, the ignition module failed and although the module was under warranty, I still had to pay the labor cost to get it fixed, and 2) after it wouldn't start this spring, I took it to a local dealer and was told the piston had seized and the cost to fix would be more than the cost of a new machine. The mechanic at the dealer told me that the problem was the octane I was using was not high enough (he suggested using 89 or higher). I called Husqvarna customer service after reviewing the manual (which stated 87 octane was OK) to see what they would say and/or do about the problem, after all, I had done everything right but yet had an unfix-able machine. The customer service guy told me that in fact, the octane isn't the problem, it's the ethanol. Apparently, ethanol in the gas somehow strips the oil off the cylinder wall (and again, this is not mentioned in the manual). So here I am with a machine that is barely 2.5 years old and completely broken and Husqvarna's response is "that's too bad, but it is out of warranty". I will never buy Husqvarna again and I don't recommend anyone else either.

Works great for a few months!
from Ormond Beach, Florida
I had this for around 4 to 5 months and it worked great out of the box and as time went on it gets harder and harder and impossible to start! I took it back to lows for the warranty and they sent it to the manufacturer for repairs. Got a call to pick it up within 2 weeks and was told that I owed them $76.01 for the repair as it was my fault as it had stale gas that caused the problem. I used this thing every week and there is no way I had stale gas lol. But it is very easy for them to claim this with everyone as there equipment will not hold up to todays 87 octane, ethanol gas and breaks down and gums there junk carbs and washes the cylinders. You Husqvarna need to fix your problems and stop passing the buck onto consumers!!! I would not buy any of this junk ever again!!!!

I bought this blower on May 14th 2017. The blower will not stay running and if you let it die I cannot restart it for about 30 minutes. I have used 2 cycle outboards, Lawn mowers, leaf blowers, weed whippers etc. and this is NOT how it should act after less than 5 months of use. I was told to drive to the approved Husqvarna dealer over 30 minutes away to have it looked at. what a piece of junk! I regret buying this and will never buy Husqvarna again.

Very easy to start great power even on wet leaves. Very good product
Does Good Blowin'
I will never buy anything but husqvarna again. This is not the first product I've bought. Much better than a T-B product...why buy something every year because it's cheaper?
don't count on it for very long
from Cincinnati, OH
the fly wheel cracked in just over 1 year and now you when you try and pull the cord to start the fly wheel wont turn. Tried to take it back to a large Home Improvement Retailer but w/o the extended warranty, no dice. Also, called Husky customer service and no help either. Very disappointing considering all the hype behind the quality of product.

Do not last,,, wore out in one fall
from Detroit, MI
I have went thru four,,, 4 125BVx. First one returned within week next one I never got started. Next two lasted thru only one fall of blowing and vacuuming leaves. Homeowner,,, but yes I have built out in the woods, so yes I have lots of leaves BUT, still should have lasted much longer. Hard to start and after 20-30 hours would not start at all. I was more wore out trying to get re-started than actually using it. I knew I had to keep it running as i dumped the bag of leaves. A local repair man said neither had compression,,,,,, In other words WORE OUT!!!!!!!!!!! in 20 hours. Very sad that a new piece of equipment would only last 20 hours. The only two good things was that it had plenty of power and it ground up dry leaves nice and fine.

Worked great for the 1st season, then started to bog when applying throttle. Now it just does not work at all
Blower great, vac clogs easily
By Juice 24
from Rockford, Il
Blower is second to none. Tons of power and much quieter too. The vac works good, but clogs continually. The chute is way too big for the internal passage size. About every two minutes I need to take off the catch bag and reach in to unclog the vac. Just really annoying.Maybe a better grinder blade would work better to make pieces smaller. Also the large chute is difficult to assemble because the trap door latches really hard and the spring is way too strong. It has to be pried open with a large screwdriver and if you let the door slip, It latches hard again and go get the screwdriver again. Bottom line, probably still better than any other brand.
