What battery is recommended with the 125i Power Axe?

This battery chainsaw works with Husqvarna’s interchangeable 40V Battery platform. It is typically kitted with the 40-B140 battery, but you could also use the Bli30 battery.

Does the 125i Power Axe require a special chainsaw oil?

No, the 125i uses standard Bar and Chain Oil, just like a gas saw.

How much wood can I cut on a single charge with the 125i?

When using a new, fully-charged Husqvarna 4 Ah battery on normal mode, the 125i can typically handle 255 cuts on a 4x4* before battery is depleted. For larger residential tasks like felling a small tree and bucking it into firewood, one battery charge is usually sufficient.

Is the 125i Battery chainsaw waterproof for use in the rain?

While the Husqvarna 125i is built for durability, it is not waterproof and should not be used in active rain or heavy snow. The battery is designed with a horizontal "pass-through" housing to protect it from wood chips and debris, but moisture can damage the electrical contacts and the brushless motor. Always store the saw and battery in a dry, climate-controlled environment when not in use.

Can the 125i cut down a tree that is 10 inches in diameter?

The 125i comes equipped with a 12 inch bar, meaning you could cut a 10 inch tree or branch with this tool. The operator’s manual states to not fell trees with a diameter that is more than two times larger than the guide bar length.

Is assembly required?

No, the 125i Power Axe comes fully assembled with the bar and chain on.
