The 3120 XP® is engineered for tasks that standard professional saws cannot handle. Its massive 118.8cc engine and 8.4 hp output make it the premier choice for chainsaw milling, felling the world’s largest tree species, and heavy-duty stump grinding. It is specifically built to provide the sustained torque necessary to pull long chains through dense, oversized hardwood logs for hours at a time.

The 3120 XP® is designed to pull Husqvarna's longest bars, with a recommended range from 24 inches up to 42 inches. To support these lengths, the saw features a high-capacity adjustable oil pump that can be customized to deliver up to 54 ml/min of lubricant, ensuring the bar and chain stay cool and protected during deep, high-friction cuts in massive timber.

While the 395 XP® is known for high chain speed and agility in the 90cc class, the 3120 XP® is a high-torque beast designed for raw lugging power. The 3120 XP® operates at a lower maximum RPM (9,000 RPM) but produces significantly more lugging power, allowing it to maintain chain movement under extreme loads where smaller saws would stall.
