Husqvarna Sets a New Standard for Autonomous Commercial Turf Care with New Automower® 560 EPOS®

Built on 30 years of robotic innovation, the latest professional mower delivers wire-free precision, an AI-ready platform, and high-performance results for complex landscapes

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – [April 30, 2026] – Husqvarna, the World Leader in Robotic Mowing*, introduces the Automower® 560 EPOS®, a professional robotic lawn mower built to transform how municipalities and facility managers maintain large-scale green spaces. Backed by more than 30 years of robotic innovation, the Automower® 560 EPOS® delivers autonomous, wire-free mowing with unmatched efficiency, reduced labor dependency, and zero-emission operation.

Across parks, schools, universities, office parks and government properties, the Automower® 560 EPOS® uses satellite-based EPOS® technology, enabling virtual boundaries with high precision and eliminating the need for physical wire installation. The result is uninterrupted operation alongside aeration, construction, and turf renovation activities. With the capacity to maintain up to 1.5 acres in a 24-hour period, the mower combines systematic and flexible mowing patterns to consistently deliver high-quality turf outcomes.

Purpose-built for complex and demanding environments, the Automower® 560 EPOS® features a floating, heavy-duty cutting system engineered to handle dense grass and variable terrain. A pivoting front axle maintains ground contact to maximize traction on slopes up to 50%, while integrated radar sensing and compatibility with an AI-powered Vision accessory (sold separately) enable intelligent object detection and avoidance further increasing uptime and operational reliability.

Seamless integration with Husqvarna Fleet Services™ gives operators full visibility and control across their robotic fleet, enabling real-time monitoring and efficient site management. The platform is designed for long-term performance and serviceability, with a hose-washable chassis, 180° service position, and quick-release cutting disc that streamlines maintenance and minimizes downtime. Features including GPS-enabled theft protection, remote start capability, and integrated warning lights ensure safe, secure operation in public environments.

“With the Automower® 560 EPOS®, we’re not just introducing a new model we’re advancing the standard for autonomous turf care,” said Gent Simmons, President of Husqvarna Forest and Garden, North America. “This solution reflects where the industry is going delivering smarter, more adaptable, and more sustainable ways to manage large, complex landscapes at scale.”
