Why is there excessive vibration while using my lawn mower?

While using your Husqvarna lawn mower, you may notice excessive vibration.

Common reasons for excessive vibration

Damaged blades

One of the reasons for your lawn mower vibrating excessively could be damaged blades.

This can occur if a blade hits something while mowing, such as a rock.

Replace the damaged blades before using the lawn mower again.

NOTE: Always perform a visual inspection of the blades before starting the lawn mower to ensure that there is no damage to the product and it is safe to handle.

How to check and replace a lawn mower blade

Incorrectly balanced blades

The blades may not have been attached correctly after they have been replaced.

In this case, the blades can become unbalanced and cause vibration.

It is necessary to balance the blades after they are replaced or sharpened. Let a service centre sharpen and balance the blades.

Cutting high and wet grass

If the grass is high and wet, it will be harder to cut it. Setting a low cutting height may cause excessive vibrations to your lawn mower.

Start cutting the grass with a higher cutting height, then lower the cutting height and cut the same area again. This will make it easier to cut the grass and there will be less strain on your product.

It is recommended to only cut 1/3 of the grass length at a time.

Damaged engine

If the engine is malfunctioning, you may experience vibration and the sound of the product will be different.

In this case, please contact your local authorised Husqvarna dealer.

Incorrect fuel type

Using the incorrect type of fuel for your lawn mower can cause unwanted vibration and excessive noise. Using the incorrect type of fuel can damage the engine.

When putting fuel into the product, make sure to use the correct one. The specific type of fuel for your lawn mower model can be found in the operator's manual.

WARNING: Do not mix different types of fuel.
