Husqvarna unveils a trio of robotic mowers with AI-empowered vision tech for suburban gardens

Husqvarna’s new generation of wire-free robotic mowers brings advanced AI vision technology to small and mid-size gardens, ensuring the highest performance ever. With over four million robotic mowers installed worldwide, Husqvarna now makes premium robotic mowing available to more lawns than ever – no boundary wires and no complex installation required.
February 2026. Ahead of the 2026 gardening season, Husqvarna presents its latest wire-free robotic mowers – smart, connected and powered by AI vision technology. The new models, made in Europe, combine more than 30 years of robotic mowing expertise with innovation in object detection and avoidance, thanks to the addition of a new camera and intuitive operation. The result: effortless lawn care for anyone who wants to enjoy their garden rather than maintain it.

AI vision technology – the mower that sees and understands your garden
The new generation of Husqvarna robotic mowers comes equipped with built-in cameras and AI vision technology that recognises and avoids obstacles in real time. When an obstacle is detected, such as a toy or garden tool, the mower slows down or reroutes. It also navigates efficiently in areas with weak satellite signals, such as under trees or close to buildings. As long as the mower sees grass, it continues mowing – ensuring smooth, uninterrupted operation with minimal collisions or unnecessary stops.
Correction data is transmitted via the Husqvarna Cloud, enabling fully wire-free installation. Only a stable Wi-Fi connection across the lawn area and the Husqvarna Automower® Connect app are required. Planned Smart Home compatibility will also allow integration with voice assistants such as Amazon’s Alexa.
Smart convenience for everyday gardening
Through the Automower® Connect app, users can plan mowing schedules, check the mower’s status, and control individual areas using Automower® Zone Control. This feature makes it easy to define work areas with different mowing patterns or prevent mowing in certain zones – ideal for play areas or flowerbeds.
The mowers operate fully autonomously, return to their charging stations automatically, and require minimal maintenance. Wi-Fi connectivity ensures remote access from anywhere at any time, while Bluetooth provides local control when on site.
