Large splitting axe, with a medium sharp, rounded edge, that provides the necessary weight and force to split larger pieces of wood without getting stuck. Great for hardwoods like beech, oak and ash. This high-quality axe is made from forged steel that is hardened to stay sharp for longer, but also easy to re-sharpen. The ashwood handle provides a comfortable grip and its upper end is painted orange for improved visibility. Comes complete with a durable cover made from reinforced textile material. Designed and manufactured in Germany.
