How to use detergent with a high-pressure washer

For tougher dirt and better cleaning results, you can use detergent with your Husqvarna high-pressure washer.

Depending on the model, your washer may come with either a foam sprayer or a built-in detergent tank.

Both options make applying detergent quick and effective.

Using a foam sprayer

1. Remove the foam sprayer from its holder.
   
2. Fill the container with a recommended Husqvarna® cleaning agent.
   CAUTION: Only use cleaning agents approved by Husqvarna® to avoid damage.
3. Attach the foam sprayer by pushing the coupling into the spray handle on the spray lance (depending on your product model). Turn clockwise until it locks in place.
4. Connect the washer to the water source.
5. Bleed the product to remove any trapped air.
6. Start the washer.
7. Adjust the foam level by turning the sprayer knob:
   - clockwise = more foam
   - counterclockwise = less foam
   (this feature is available only on some models)
8. Set the spray pattern by turning the nozzle cover:
   - clockwise = narrow spray pattern
   - counterclockwise = wider spray pattern
   (this feature is available only on some models)

Using a built-in detergent tank

1. Remove the detergent tank from its holder.
   
2. Fill the container with a recommended Husqvarna® cleaning agent.
   CAUTION: Only use cleaning agents approved by Husqvarna® to avoid damage.
3. Tighten the cap securely.
4. Reattach the tank to the washer.
5. Install the gentle nozzle on the spray lance and turn the pressure setting counterclockwise to the lowest level.
   
6. Connect the washer to the water source.
7. Bleed the product to remove any trapped air.
8. Start the washer.
9. Adjust the foam level by turning the sprayer knob:
   - clockwise = more foam
   - counterclockwise = less foam

• Store the foam sprayer or detergent tank empty and clean after use.
