How to find the serial number and product information on your Husqvarna equipment

Whether you’re registering your Husqvarna product, looking for spare parts or contacting support, you’ll often need the serial number and product number (also known as the article number or PNC). This guide shows you where to find this information on a wide range of Husqvarna products—from chainsaws and lawn mowers to trimmers and cleaning equipment. Where to find the serial number and product number

On the product plate on your Husqvarna product

Lawnmowing (Garden Tractors, Ride-On Front Mowers etc.)

  • Ride-on Front Mowers (Riders): Inside the chassis under the seat.
  • Lawnmowers: At the rear of the cutting deck.
  • Garden Tractors: Under the seat.
  • Zero-Turn Mowers: On the left side of the chassis, near the engine.

Chainsaws

  • On the bar side of the saw, under the handle.
  • On the bar side, under the clutch cover.
  • Next to the chain oil cap.
  • Battery models: In the battery slot.

Trimmers, Hedge Trimmers, Brushcutters

  • On the housing, engine or handle loop.
  • Battery models: In the battery slot.

Leaf Blowers, Scarifiers, Snow Throwers, Tillers

  • Leaf Blowers: On the nozzle, or under the handle.
  • Leaf Blower Backpacks: On the orange housing where the tube attaches.
  • Scarifiers: On the chassis.
  • Snow Throwers: On the right side of the chassis, above the tyre or at the rear of the battery compartment.
  • Tillers: On the chassis.

High Pressure Washers, Vacuum Cleaners

  • High Pressure Washers: At the rear, between the wheels.
  • Vacuum Cleaners: At the rear of the product.

Product number or article number

The product number (also called article number or PNC) is a 9-digit number (usually starting with 5 or 9) that identifies the product model.

Serial number

The serial number is a unique code that includes production date and sequence number. Serial number formats and the information they include can vary between products.

Some examples:

  • 202701755 — YYWWNNNNN
  • 20221612345 — YYYYWWNNNNN
  • 112221X123456 — MMDDYYletterNNNNNN

Y = Year
W = Week
DD = Day of the month
N = Sequence number

Husqvarna ID and QR code

Some Husqvarna products come with a Husqvarna ID (HID)—a unique code that helps identify your product. You can use it to register your product on MyPages or add it to apps like Husqvarna Connect.

What the HID looks like

Example: HID: 967864000SNY2020374011238

This code includes:

  • [967864000] Product number/Article number
  • [SNY] Production line ID
  • [2020] Production year
  • [37] Production week
  • [4] Day of the week, 1–7, Monday to Sunday
  • [01123] Sequence number
  • [8] Validation number

What about the QR code?

Many products also have a QR code that you can scan with your phone to access the same product details—such a serial number, product number and registration information.
