How to install Husqvarna robotic mowers?

Husqvarna offers wire free installation via satellite technology or installation with physical boundary wires. Click here to find out more. How do I plan an installation in my garden with no boundary wires?

Wire free mowers require an open sky view to receive the satellite signals. Models with AI vision technology combine with satellite navigation to operate even in areas with weak satellite signals. 
Also required: 

  • Wi-Fi or cellular* internet connection across the full lawn area, 
  • The Automower® Connect app

What happens if I do not have Wi-Fi or cellular coverage in a certain area of my lawn?

Wire free mowers require an internet connection across the whole lawn. If you have a mower with Wi-Fi connectivity (and not cellular), and the Wi-Fi coverage is limited in your garden, there are two options:

  • Buy the Automower® Connect kit to enable cellular connectivity. 
  • Buy the Husqvarna EPOS® RS1 reference station.
