Automower® won’t start or keeps stopping

Automower® shows “On the way” but doesn’t move

What this means and what to check

When Automower® displays “On the way” or “Going to charging station”, it is travelling to the work area following a guide wire (boundary wire installations) or a transport path (wire free installations). It does not mow during this phase. This is expected behaviour.

If Automower® shows “On the way” but does not move at all:

Automower® won’t start after winter

Steps to get Automower® running again after winter storage

If Automower® won’t start after winter, the most common cause is a deeply discharged battery. A battery left uncharged over winter may take several hours to recover enough charge to start.

  1. If Automower® was stored outdoors or in an unheated space, bring it indoors first and let it reach room temperature before charging.
  2. Place Automower® on the charging station and leave it to charge fully. This may take several hours. Do not attempt to start it before the battery is fully charged.
  3. Once fully charged, restart Automower® and check the app for any error messages before sending a start command.

If Automower® still won’t start after a full charge, see Automower® battery and charging: error messages and troubleshooting or contact a Husqvarna dealer.
