Snow blower pulling to one side? Here’s how to fix it
Is your Husqvarna snow blower veering to one side while in use? Don’t worry—the fix only takes a couple of easy steps.
Follow these easy steps to get your snow blower moving straight again:
Check the tyre pressure
Uneven tyre pressure is one of the most common reasons why your snow blower turns to one side.
- Use a tyre pressure gauge to check both tyres.
- Inflate the tyres until the pressure is equal on both sides.
- Even pressure causes straight movement.
Inspect the tyre lock pin
If only one wheel is driving the product, your snow blower may drift or fell harder to control.
- Make sure that the tyre lock pin is properly in place and not damaged.
- Replace the pin if needed so both wheels are engaged and drive evenly.
Adjust the skid plates
Uneven skid plates can lift one side of the machine, causing it to pull.
- Check the height and the position of both skid plates.
- Adjust them to make that they are even and aligned. This gives you a smoother and more stable clearing path.
