Commercial robotic mowing product news 2026
As global leaders in commercial robotic mowing, our broad offering is continuously expanded and perfected. In 2026, a number of additional products and features will add further value and raise the bar for commercial robotic mowing operations.

Husqvarna Automower® 540 EPOS®
With the addition of the new Automower® 540 EPOS®, we’re set to “close the loop” in regard to area coverage. Designed specifically for smaller areas, with an area capacity of 4–8,000 m2 – daily or every second day – it’s ideal for areas such as hotels, hospitals, or office parks.
With wire-free EPOS® navigation, 50% slope handling, and the upgraded management system, Husqvarna Fleet Services™, Husqvarna Automower® 540 EPOS® will help increase uptime, reduce maintenance disruptions, and easily adapt to varied green space conditions. It also comes prepared for the highly-intelligent vision technology accessory.

Protect the things that really matter
With the vision technology accessory, Husqvarna continues to push the innovation boundaries in autonomous turf care. This AI-powered camera accessory detects objects and, using advanced AI, identifies the object, then acts according to the type of object it is. It knows to slow down and give extra space to people and animals, while navigating close to and around balls, kick scooters, and other obstacles. It reacts with precision and avoids collisions with what’s on the turf.
The 5-megapixel camera has a wide field of view, enhanced with infrared illumination, which enables the vision technology to work even in the dark – detecting and avoiding nocturnal animals such as hedgehogs during nighttime mowing. For commercial customers in sports, golf, and facility management, the vision technology accessory delivers premium object detection and avoidance to Husqvarna Automower® 540, 560, 580 and 580L, ensuring more reliable, and intelligent robotic mowing.

Three ways to get the installation working
New for 2026 are also the updated and vastly improved ways in which your Husqvarna robotic mowers are guided with the virtual boundaries of Husqvarna EPOS® (Exact Positioning Operating System).
With the addition of Husqvarna Cloud and our new 4G reference station, there are now three ways to complement the satellite signals with correction data:
- via the all-new RS 4G reference station
- free from hardware via Husqvarna Cloud
- or, via the RS5 reference station.
Husqvarna EPOS® utilises satellite signals to create the virtual boundary lines. The position is calculated through RTK GNSS technology, and the so-called correction data is transmitted via one of the three options. Which one works best depends on your layout and type of work area.
- With the RS 4G reference station, correction data is transmitted over 4G and only one station is needed. The range is up to 25 kilometres and the accuracy is typically 1–2 cm.
- With EPOS® via Husqvarna Cloud, the signal is transmitted via the cellular coverage in the area which means no physical installation is needed. The accuracy here is typically 1–6 centimetres.
- With an installation with RS5 reference stations, multiple stations are needed for larger areas and each station has a coverage of approx. 500 metres.

Ball deflector for driving ranges
A new addition for 2026 is a ball deflector for Husqvarna CEORA® – used when mowing on a driving range. The deflector has been specifically designed to push the golf ball rather than damaging them. Adjustable brushes make it a viable option no matter the cutting height. This can translate into less closing time at the driving range, a better looking turf – and satisfied players.
