Why Automower® stops despite having battery capacity
If your Automower® robotic lawn mower suddenly stops in the middle of the lawn despite having battery capacity left, it is usually due to a Pause or Stop command. In EPOS® wire free installations, the stops can also be due to the mower searching for satellite signals or not having internet coverage when using EPOS® via the Husqvarna Cloud*.
Here are some reasons why this may happen:
| Cause | Effect | Message | How to restart | Comment |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| STOP button pressed on the lawn mower | Lawn mower stopped | Stopped — manual action required | To get your lawn mower going again, you need to do an on-site manual restart of the lawn mower. | For safety reasons, the lawn mower cannot be restarted using Automower® Connect or Smart Home service if the Stop button has been pressed. |
| Pause command sent from Automower® Connect | Lawn mower paused | Paused | After a Pause command, the lawn mower can be restarted manually or using the app or a Smart Home service. | If there are several users connected to your lawn mower, someone other than you may have paused it. |
| Pause command sent from IFTTT applet | Lawn mower paused | Paused | After a Pause command, the lawn mower can be restarted manually or using the app or a Smart Home service. | Log in to IFTTT to review and adjust your applets. If there are several users connected to your mower, someone else may have triggered an applet. |
| Smart Routine activated in the Automower® Connect app (Consideration for wildlife, Rain guard or Frost guard) | Mower parked | Parked — with a comment specifying the reason, e.g. “Set by Rain Guard” | The mower will resume its schedule automatically once the Smart Routine condition no longer applies. | To review active routines, go to More > Smart Home > Smart Routines in the app. If there are several users connected to your mower, someone else may have enabled a routine. |
| Pause command sent from a Smart Home service | Lawn mower paused | Paused | After a Pause command, the lawn mower can be restarted manually or using the app or a Smart Home service. | If there are several users connected to your lawn mower, someone other than you may have paused it. |
