Charging station blocked – Automower® error message
The message Charging station blocked appears when the mower is unable to dock properly after several attempts, often due to poor contact between the charging strips on the mower and the contact plates on the charging station or due to obstacles in the docking path.
Common causes:
- Obstructions in the docking path: Leaves, toys or garden debris can block the mower’s entry.
- Uneven ground under the charging station: Even slight dips can cause misalignment. Level the ground with sand or soil if needed.
- Oxidation on contact plates or charging strips: Clean with a fine abrasive pad or contact cleaner.
- Loose or damaged power cable connections: Check the power cable connections at the charging station. Re-fit connectors if loose.
- Faulty circuit board or signal issues: If all else fails, the charging station circuit board may need inspecting or replacing by a Husqvarna dealer.
For boundary wire installations
- Incorrect guide wire layout: Ensure a straight line of at least 2 m (7 ft) in front of the station.
- Loose or damaged guide wires: Check the guide wire connections underneath the station. Re-fit connectors if loose.
