How do I know the slope of my yard?

The easiest way to measure the slope in your yard is with a level that measures degrees – some smartphones have level apps that show this information. We recommend placing a flat piece of wood on the ground or parallel to the slope of your yard. Then place the level on the piece of wood to find the degree of the slope.

Terrain wheels, for Automower® iQ Series mowers, can be useful in yards with thick grass or uneven ground. Most yards will not require this extra traction, but if your mower consistently shows the “slipped” error, we recommend swapping to the terrain wheels.
