FAQs

How accurate is EPOS® technology?

EPOS® technology delivers location data with an accuracy of 2-3 cm.

Do I need a Reference Station?

If you are in a Husqvarna Cloud coverage zone you will not need a Reference Station. Use the Cloud Coverage checker to check if your address is covered.

Can I install the Automower® IQ series myself?

It is recommended for larger, more complex properties that you ask an Authorized Automower Dealer to install the product for you.

How do I know the slope of my yard?

The easiest way to measure the slope in your yard is with a level that measures degrees – some smartphones have level apps that show this information. We recommend placing a flat piece of wood on the ground or parallel to the slope of your yard. Then place the level on the piece of wood to find the degree of the slope.

Do I need terrain wheels for my yard?

Terrain wheels, for Automower® iQ Series mowers, can be useful in yards with thick grass or uneven ground. Most yards will not require this extra traction, but if your mower consistently shows the “slipped” error, we recommend swapping to the terrain wheels.
