Managing Automower® schedules and work areas with AIM Technology: mower display vs app

What you can do from the mower display

You can edit the schedule for your entire lawn from the mower display. This schedule corresponds to the virtual map called My Lawn in the Automower® Connect app.

The mower display allows you to control when your mower operates, but it doesn’t give you control over specific areas within your lawn.

What you need the app for

To add and edit stay-out zones and work areas using AIM technology, you need the Automower® Connect app. AIM technology enables your mower to map your lawn and allows you to create multiple work areas and stay-out zones through the app.

Important to know

If you make changes to the schedule using the mower display, your mower will mow the entire lawn (My Lawn) according to that schedule, regardless of any work areas you have created in the app.

The area settings under Installation > Lawn Coverage in the mower display are not related to AIM technology and will not affect the work areas created using AIM technology in the app.
