How to replace blades on a ride-on mower

  3. Loosen and remove the blade bolt, washers and blade.
  4. Position the new blade with the angled ends facing towards the cutting deck.
  5. Reattach the blade, washers and bolt.
  6. Tighten the bolt to the torque setting listed in your product’s operator’s manual.

For battery ride-on mower

  1. Put the cutting deck in service position
  2. Lock the blade using a wooden block.
  3. Remove the blade bolt, washers, blade and blade support.
  4. Align and install the new blade with the bent edges facing the deck.
  5. Reassemble with the washers and bolt, then tighten using the specified torque. For your specific model, refer to the product’s operator’s manual.
