By following a service schedule, you’ll:
- Extend the life of your ride-on mower.
- Get a consistent, professional-looking cut.

DIY maintenance you can do at home
Safety first
Always use the right protective equipment and make sure the lawn mower is switched off before starting any maintenance.
After 50 hours: first service (or once a year)
- Check and adjust the tyre pressure.
- Clean the air filter.
- Replace the engine oil and oil filter.
- Inspect lights and replace if necessary (if applicable).
- Check and charge the starter battery.
- Clean the cutting deck (inside and out).
- Adjust the cutting height and pitch for correct ground pressure.
- Test the blade engagement, seat, lift, drive and brakes.
- Inspect the collection system (if applicable).
- Clean the cutting deck inside and out.
- Check the tyre pressure.
- Adjust the cutting deck parallelism if needed.
After 100 hours
- Replace the fuel filter.
- Replace the air filter.
- Replace the engine oil.
- Replace the spark plug.
- Check and top up the transmission oil.
- Inspect the lights, battery and electrical system.
- Clean the cutting deck thoroughly.
- Re-check the tyre pressure, cutting height, pitch and ground pressure.
- Test the blade engagement, seat, lift, drive and brakes.
- Inspect the collection system.
After 200 hours: dealer maintenance
Some tasks require specialist tools and training.
At the 200-hour mark, or if you are unsure, visit your local authorised Husqvarna dealer for expert service.
They will perform advanced checks and ensure your ride-on lawn mower continues to meet factory standards.
