Why a high-pressure washer won’t start

If your Husqvarna high-pressure washer won’t turn on, don’t worry—this is an issue that is often easy to solve.

Several factors can prevent your product from starting, and most can be checked in just a few minutes.

Incorrect extension cable

Using the wrong type of extension cable can stop your washer from receiving enough power. Always use the cable type and length recommended in the operator’s manual for your product.

Double check that the power plug is firmly inserted into a working power outlet. If possible, test the outlet with another device to confirm that it is supplying power.

Inspect the power cord cuts, cracks or other damage. If the cord is damaged, do not use the washer until it has been repaired or replaced by your local authorised dealer.
