Using the Automower® Scheduler Tool for boundary wire installations
The Automower® Scheduler Tool helps you create a customised mowing schedule for installations that use a physical boundary wire. Based on your lawn mower model, total lawn size and mowing/charging times, the tool suggests an optimised weekly schedule to keep your lawn well-maintained.
Compatible Automower® models
The Scheduler Tool works with Automower® models equipped with Wi-Fi or cellular connectivity, including those fitted with an Automower® Connect kit.
Requirements for using the Scheduler Tool
- Automower® Connect app: The Scheduler Tool is accessible via the Automower® Connect app.
- Cloud connection: The lawn mower must be connected to the Husqvarna Cloud via Wi-Fi or cellular.
- Boundary wire installation: This article applies only to installations using a physical boundary wire. For EPOS wire free installations, refer to this guide: Using the Automower® Scheduler Tool in EPOS™ wire free installations.
- Single work area setup: The Scheduler Tool can only be used with a single work area, and how this is defined depends on your lawn mower model:
- For lawn mowers with an Automower® Connect kit (without AIM Technology): The tool only works for the “Main area”. It is not available for scheduling in any Secondary areas.
- For lawn mowers with AIM Technology: The Scheduler Tool is only available if your map consists of a single unified work area (“My Lawn”). If you have divided “My Lawn” into separate work areas, the Scheduler Tool will not be accessible.
How to set up your mowing schedule
- Open the Automower® Connect app.
- Select your lawn mower.
- Scroll down and click Get started to select the Scheduler Tool.
- Select Begin.
- Enter your lawn size.
- For models with AIM Technology: If the AIM map (My Lawn) has already been created, the lawn size will be prefilled. You can manually adjust if needed.
- Click Next to create your proposed schedule.
- Select Use this schedule to confirm it.
Additional information
- Manual changes: You can manually adjust mowing times after applying the schedule.
- Multiple work areas: If you add another work area after setting up the schedule, the Scheduler Tool will no longer be visible in the app, but the existing schedule for your original work area will remain active.
- Weather conditions: The Scheduler Tool does not adapt to weather or seasonal changes. For tips on adjusting for local conditions, check the Mowing Tips section within the tool.
- Work area complexity: The tool does not take lawn obstacles (e.g. trees, ponds) into account when generating the schedule.
