How to remove and install the body of Automower® 430V NERA and 450V NERA

Follow these steps to remove the top cover and body of Automower® 430V NERA and 450V NERA, for example if your robotic lawn mower requires a thorough cleaning.

Remove the top cover

1. Press the STOP button to stop the mower.
2. If required, enter your PIN by rotating the jogwheel to select each digit and pressing it to confirm.
3. Set the mower to OFF by holding down the jogwheel for 3 seconds to turn the mower off. Ensure that the LED indicator on the jog wheel is not lit.
4. Carefully pull the top cover at the rear, the middle and the front.

Remove the body

Note: Wearing protective gloves is recommended to help prevent injury.

1. At the rear of the mower, place one hand on the chassis handle to hold it steady (green mark in the illustration).
2. Place your other hand under the mower body (blue mark in the illustration) and, using a quick upward and forward motion, lift the body off.

3. Put the body of the mower next to the chassis or lean it against a wall.

Install the body

1. Position the body over the mower.
2. Align the four holes on the underside of the body with the four fixing points located at each corner of the chassis (green parts in the illustration).
3. Press down firmly on each corner until the body clicks into place.
