High-pressure washer starts but no water comes out? Here’s how to fix it
Sometimes, your Husqvarna high-pressure washer may start normally but fail to release water. This issue is usually caused by water supply problems, a dirty filter or a blocked nozzle.
Here is how to troubleshoot and fix it:
No water supply
- Before starting the product, always bleed the system to remove trapped air.
- If no water is coming out, turn the wash OFF immediately to prevent pump damage.
- Check that the water inlet is properly connected to a water supply.
- If it’s not connected, attach it securely and restart.
Blocked water filter
- The water filter prevents dirt and debris from entering your washer.
- Over time, it can become clogged and stop water flow.
Solution
- Turn off and disconnect the washer from the water source.
- Remove the water filter from the inlet.
- Rinse it thoroughly under clean running water.
- If the filter is damaged or broken, replace it before using the washer again.
Blocked nozzle
- A clogged nozzle can also stop water from coming out.
Solution
- Turn off the washer and disconnect it from power and water.
- Remove the nozzle from the spray lance.
- Use a nozzle cleaning tool or fine wire to clear debris.
- Rise the nozzle with clean water and reattach.
