RECALL WARNING - BUYER BEWARE!!! There is a poorly communicated recall on many 555 and 562 models involving a design defect with the carburetor and ignition wiring harness. My brand new 555 stopped running after only 4 hours of use! I have been waiting weeks to have the unit repaired but the wiring harness is on indefinite backorder. Husqvarna refuses to ship me a new unit or issue a refund. I am stuck waiting for an indefinite period of time after purchasing a "professional" saw. I would highly recommend avoiding these models, and perhaps Huqvarna altogher given their poor customer service. May 14, 2013
Can't be beat! I was torn between this saw and a ms362. I decided on the 555 because it handled better, was lighter and i had such good luck with my old husqvarna saw. Not long after I got the saw I was out cutting a couple of trees, I sat the saw on the ground and was backing my truck up, forgot about the saw being there and backed up on it, thinking it was a log i pulled off it then realized what i did. I thought for sure the whole case would have been cracked. All it did to the saw was broke the chain brake gaurd off!. I ran up to the dealer, picked up a new part (it was inexpensive), went back and finished the day cutting. I have been very pleased with the power of the saw and the way it handles. For the price I could not be more satisfied! April 19, 2013

Awesome Saw This saw is the best one yet I have ran from Husqvarna! September 17, 2012
Rev for 2011 562 XP Had the 562 xp about 4 weeks. No problems so far. Great engine torque and peak HP for 60 CC saw. Can see Husq has put a great deal of effort into reducing weight. The saw is a good fit for elderly operators as myself. Operator can cut all day without sore muscles. I'm impressed with the performance. Best power to weight ratio I've seen in over 40 years of cutting. March 20, 2012
Neat saw! So I was at my friends shop yesterday when a new order of 555's came in, I had not ever herd of them untill now, So he sells me one & I take it home to try it out. So It starts quickly to my surprise after 3 pulls. The saw is very light & I cut down 4 trees on my farm and it was a really great saw! March 1, 2012
