Good Basic Saw Have put my 440e through the paces of dropping a lot of scrub oak trees and cutting them up. Did OK on 70 ft. pine trees up to 20 inches in diameter. Worked it hard and never failed on me. March 8, 2011
2 broke saws 1st broke with in 5 minutes, returned and second one broke after an hour. Both saws just let go engine ran fine but the clutch let go. Traded up to a cheaper saw. Really wish the new huskys were like the old ones. I think the tooless chain tensioner is a really poor choice and parts are not of the same ol Husqvarna quality we all remember. Typical of stuff when you get more bells and whistles for less $$$ somethings gotta give I guess. I prefer simple quality that works. Tractor supply had several in back going to shop for the same problem. March 1, 2011
Reliable & Good Value This is the only brand chainsaw I have ever owned. Husqvarna is a terrific value for the money. It is powerful, reliable and easy to use with good safety features. March 1, 2011
353 E-tech This saw is used for bucking up firewood. This saw is light in weight yet has tremendous power. It is a nice saw for moving around a wood pile and I don't have a sore back at the end of the day. I appreciate the decompression switch for easier starting. One pull is all it takes. This saw will take on any size wood in the pile. It chews it up, spits it out, and comes back for more! February 27, 2011
This chainsaw has met all my expectations This chainsaw has met all my expectations. For it's size it has plenty of power, lightweight, which is nice for cutting limbs. It also starts everytime. I bought mine new and i would recommend getting the carb adjusted after a few tanks of gas have been run through it. Other than that i can't wait till spring to send some wood chips a flying, and this saw is perfect for it. February 26, 2011
Great saw for heavy weekend use I have had this saw for about 1 year now with no problems. I have an 18" bar and use it for cutting cord wood for my wood stove. It's lightweight and handles cutting most logs with ease. The chain tension system that doesn't require a tool is great. The chain seems to dull fairly quickly so I would keep a spare on hand. 440 Chainsaw I have only used my chainsaw a couple of times, but I found it easy to start and easy to handle. There was a little hesitation when I started my cut, but the power was adequate to get the job done. February 25, 2011
Great chainsaw. The Husky 445 is a great homeowner saw. I purchased this saw because I wanted a saw for everyday woodcutting chores. I also own a Husky 266XP (which is a great saw for big jobs) as well as an Echo 3000 (which is a great saw for limbing and other small jobs). For the normal around the house/farm job, the 445 is super. It is much lighter than the 266, but has plenty of power. I really like this saw! February 24, 2011
