Great cut, plenty of power!
I use this mower on 2.5 acres and it is perfect for the job. I love the Kawasaki engine. It has all the power I need. The top speed of the mower is a little less than what I was expecting but it compensates for it with its sheer cutting power. Seems very durable so far.

Good bang for your buck
This is my first zero turn and it is a beast. It has power, maneuvers with ease, and for the price it can't be beat.

I've had the RZ4824 for a couple of months now. It starts right up and cuts really well. I cut about 2.5 acres in about 2 1/2 hours. The seat is pretty comfortable and the height adjustments are easy to make. Great mower for the price. Would definitely recommend this mower to anyone.

Got the RZ4824F from Social Circle Ace dealer on 5-13-13 after my lawn tractor blew the motor. Wow I can't stay off this new z-turn, I like mowing grass again! I'm mowing around 2 acres with obstacles in half the time. This mower is fast and cuts really good! With the 24 hp kawaski and the fabricated deck the price was right.

Dealer needs to give more attention to pre delivery
After unloading mower it wouldn't start because the wiring harness was routed wrong and when lifting seat unplugged safety switch. Center blade worked loose after 4 hrs and destroyed pulley and shaft on center blade. Never properly tightened.
After taking care of the slip ups by dealer mower works really well.

overall poor rating
My Zero turn RZ4824F is leaking oil from a part that Husqvarna is out of stock on. Furthermore their customer service guy Randall Harper said that i must go to a authorized service dealer before i can get the parts that are needed to repair the device. He provided me with 3 phone numbers 2 of which were out of business and the 3rd did not handle the mowers only small hand held devices. I called back and waited for service again and they gave me different numbers which turned out they did not have the parts that i needed and would not allow me to speak with a mechanic. Finally i had to pay for the correct sized belt that by the way was installed wrong from the manufacturer. That cost was $71.00 ouch!! I explained everything in detail to both customer service representatives and in the end had to find a oil plug from an old blown up motor and completely do away with the oil drain extension device that was leaking and causing a mess in my garage.
Now it will have to be a top side oil change only due to poor engineering of the location of the oil change plug. Keep in mind this unit only has 9 hours on it and i doubt very seriously it will ever survive 90+ hour like my old john deer. Husqvarna you really need to evaluate your customer care department not to mention the product that you are distributing. Here is how to save your business.
I understand that you need to sell product and that the big box stores can do that for you. But hey what about serving your products? Stop for a minute and look at some small local business owners around the states and counties and allow the qualified ones like Billy's small engine repair in Cumming GA to handle your service issues. Furthermore don't force these small business/service center to carry thousands of dollars of inventory hey they can't afford it! If they can and choose to then great but make them service centers so when someone like myself has a problem we can get something done about it in a timely manner. Meanwhile fortunately for you Husqvarna God keeps on growing the grass and I have to keep cutting it with your product, man i hope it lasts another season or my $3,500.00 is just a waste that I spent on the RZ4824F.
You could have at least sent me the belt at no cost, Come on! 9 hours on the device!!

Husky r4824f zero turn mower
I had a problem with my new Husky zero turn r4824f , the factory failed to grease the deck bearings when I bought it new , the dealer took care of the problem by putting new deck bearings in the deck , problem solved . I love the mower it functions flawlessly , the blades were not as sharp as they should have been easy fix . Over all I would buy it again . Very good mower , with the Kawasaki twin cylinder engine it handles my one acre yard without any problems . Great mower just make sure the dealer greases the deck bearings .
