finally a timmer that does what i need ! I live next door to my mother-in-law, so i do 2 fairly big lawns a week. These 2 lawns are not what one would publish in a home and garden magazine. The Husqvarna 223L came well packed. I put the line shield on (very easy), put fuel in, primed, and started in 1 pull. This trimmer blows through what would take forever with other trimmers. I'm very pleased, and will consider Husqvarna when i start looking for a new mower ! July 18, 2012
good value I use this product on our 50 acre place to trim, and cut areas not reachable by tractor. It cuts dense stands of stout weeds. At the suggestion of the salesman I installed an "ugly head" which has been marvelous July 13, 2012
223L- The best trimmer I've ever owned. I was previously using a "weedeater" brand string trimmer around the house. When the inevitable happened (it quit working), i vowed to buy a trimmer that would last for years to come. After some research, i purchased the Husqvarna 223L. Immediately after recieving the trimmer, i gased it up and jumped in too the back 40 of my property. The immediate power response and cutting force this trimmer has is incredible. I have not been disappointed. With Husqvarna, there is no task too large! July 13, 2012
Above and Beyond I recently purchased the 223L trimmer to replace another brand (ry***) trimmer that had broken down. Having just started a small residential lawn care I had been using the other brand trimmer and when I stepped up to the Husqvarna I was amazed at the difference in quality. First off just holding the Husky you feel a much more quality machine that has more power, better balanced and creates less user fatigue, plus it is quieter. It is easier to handle than my other model trimmer which included a shoulder strap, where the 223L is easier to handle without the strap. I know from now on I will make Husqvarna my first choice. It is definitely true that you DO get what you pay for. There are several other "Pro" brands out there, but this one unit has sold me. Thanks for making such a quality piece of equipment! Acreage Killer I've waited 6 years too buy a trimmer for my 1 1/2 acre yard, so I don't plan on buying another one again. This trimmer (so far) is worth the money. It won't back down to any of my over grown areas, 1/2inch + weeds with just using the stock string. The guard pretty much just cuts the string, pants and glasses are a must but at least I have a clear view. Light enough to carry around the whole yard. Could use a larger gas tank. July 8, 2012
223-l trimmer best power to money ratio This is a great little trimmer so far, I broke it in on the first tank & then full throttle tank after tank when needed in the rough stuff. ONE GREAT LIGHT WEIGHT TRIMMER July 7, 2012
223L trimmer nice n light with plenty of power. the top cover tends to get a little hot on the forearm. other than that minor flaw it's pretty much perfect for home use. July 5, 2012
