Well built with many valuable features
Once assembled this little unit is appears to be very sturdy and well built. Fill the tank with the proper fuel mixture and follow the starting instructions and you will discover how sturdy it actually is. It starts with little effort and once running is far more quiet than my old unit. When handled with one hand, as having to open a gate it is quite obvious how well balanced it is. I also like the feature that the string head stops at idle. Overall very well built machine.

I had another Husqvarna string trimmer I bought used over 18 years ago and just recently donated it when I purchased this new one and it was still running. It was just time for a new one, I am 6'4" tall and although this one is a little shorter in length so far it still has the same Husqvarna performance & quality i am used to. I keep my tools clean and use them properly with fuel/oil etc and take very good care of them. Husqvarna has proved itself to me 125% and within a week or two I will also be purchasing a new Husqvarna mower as well. If all your products have the same performance and length of usage as the one I had before then I am yours for life. I tell everyone about you guys and your products. My wife and I do "ALL" our own landscaping together, rock, pavers, walls, water features, ponds, flag stone, drip system, sprinklers, malibu lighting, etc. You name it and we have probably done some variation of it. I have been doing this kind of stuff since i was 11 years old, and did it for a living for a number of years. I know quality and know what works and Husqvarna "WORKS".

Where are the attachments??
This trimmer is amazing! Lots of power, reliable, easier to use than Stihl trimmers of professional grade that I've used in the past. BUT where are the available attachments? I don't see this model listen under the attachments available for other trimmers, yet it is attachment-compatible.

PLESE DONT BUY - I REGRET MY PURCHASE
Had a cheap Ryobi purchased from a big box store for $110. It bit the dust after 10 yrs of use. Thought I would buy better quality for the $200 HUSQVARNA 128LD. Such was not the case.
I'm a handy guy and take ULTRA good care of my equipment. So far I have over $110.00 in replacement parts for a unit bought in 2009 - a new carb @ $28, 2 upper shafts at $33 (only got 1 yrs use out of each) $6 for a broken pull cord spring. And now a broken pull cord string. Of which that assembly will cost me another $16. Its been broken more than its been operable.
My cheap $110 Ryobi never gave me an ounce of trouble - it worked till it died (broken piston shaft) when the Ryobi I knew I was buying junk and had low expectations, turns out the junk Ryobi was better quality than the double the price HUSKQVARNA 128LD.
Go to a small retailer and buy anything other than a HUSKVARNA in a contractor grade. I have an Echo Blower it it runs like a charm.

this is one great trimmer for the money light easy to handle with power to handle everything i have put it to would recommend this trimmer for average to above average home use. the only fault i can find is the amount of string the head holds would like to see a larger string capacity

tackles saplings and small brush without effort
I purchased his to edge around my yard particularly a two foot area that does not get trimmed regularly. Living in Florida, it doesn't take long for weeds to take over, so I needed something to cut small one to three foot grass and saplings. No problem experienced so far. Easy to handle and not to bad on starting.

I had attachments from my old trimmer, and had no problem using them with the 128ld. Easy starting, when you follow the starting instructions, that is labeled on the unit. Lots of power
