Well built with many valuable features
Once assembled this little unit is appears to be very sturdy and well built. Fill the tank with the proper fuel mixture and follow the starting instructions and you will discover how sturdy it actually is. It starts with little effort and once running is far more quiet than my old unit. When handled with one hand, as having to open a gate it is quite obvious how well balanced it is. I also like the feature that the string head stops at idle. Overall very well built machine.

Poor Performer
*Husqvarna rejected my first post about this specific product: which is part of my negative experience with the 128LD*
I had difficulty maintaining RPMs and found that the motor would bog down at full throttle. When I was cutting tall grass the machince also had difficulting maintain RPMs despite goosing the throttle. There is also a problem with the fuel line where the machine will sputter and die on any sort of slope or odd angle. I would not recommend this product, and I will be returning mine to the merchant.

Goodbye to my 2 Robins trimmers
Filled with fuel, pumped bulb 9 times and it started in 5 pulls. You just pull the rope and then the engine starts turning maybe a 1/2 second later. No more jerking on the rope to crank a trimmer. No more being tired before I get to trimming.

Easy to assemble
When I got home with this new trimmer I had it assembled,gassed up and running in less than 5 minutes. It started with one pull. This is my first Husqvarna product but so far I'm impressed.

Great so far
I just bought the 128ld to replace an Echo trimmer that lasted about 3 years then died. I hope to get more longevity out of this HusQ. I've had several Husqvarna chainsaws and love them, so I would expect the same for their other products. It starts with ease and has all the power I need for my trimming needs around our property.

Only used it a few times and so far it is great. Good handling and control. Quick to start.

I am not happy with the way trim line is not coming out I used it one time and am having trouble getting trim line to come out

Good for average homeowner
I have only used my trimmer a few times but it started easily and did the job I needed it to do. I have the brushcutter attachment for a gulley I keep clean. It has worked ok but I wish it had more than the 4 points. I had a Craftsman with an 8 point blade and it worked very well.
