Great Snow Thrower I , have had only one chance to this point to use this 924HV , I live in a heavy snow belt area & have owned other machienes , in comparison I would have to say the 924HV is most deffinately more of a thrower & I would most recomment the Husqvarna 924 , or larger if required for the application . GREAT product December 28, 2012
Very Good Snow Thrower I bought the Husqvarna 924HV a couple of months ago in preparation for winter and I got to use it for the first time today. What a powerful machine. It took me a little by surprise and I had a little trouble operating it at first, but once I got more familiar with the controls and how powerful it was it worked great. The only negative issue that I had was with the Fuel On/Off knob. It keeps falling off when the machine is running. It doesn't look broken, and it stays in place when it is in the off position, but when I put it in the on position it just falls off. Very minor issue and I am very happy with the machine overall. Ease of operation and starting I cannot believe how easy this unit is to start, even the first time, simply follow the easy instructions, let it warm up on the choke setting and throw snow. The snow chute is easy to operate on the fly. The multiple gearing lets you travel and get in the show. Love it! December 11, 2012
Let it Snow No snow yet in Minnesota but my wife says "its a beast" just by looking at it. Solid construction. Controls seem friendly. Just waiting to unleash Big Orange........ November 6, 2012
Hard to turn I bought this two stage to replace a 20 year old Honda that just died. With the mild winter I just now (in Feb) got to use it for the first time. It cleared the drive fine, but with a solid axle it's extremely difficult to turn 180 degrees on concrete, and the controls are very high. And I'm over 6 feet tall. This machine has less than one hour on it, but it's got to go. If I want a workout like this machine gives I'll go to the gym. February 11, 2012
Best Snow Blower! My driveway would take 2 hours to shovel or 1 hour with my old snow blower and now it busts throught the snow and finishes the driveway in 25 minutes. I no longer mind when the town snow plow comes through and buries me in at end of the driveway. My Husqvarna busts through it in minutes! Highly recommend this show blower. This adds to my husqvarna set of a trimmer and a blower. my favorite outdoor equipment company! February 10, 2012
Not very happy with this snowblower I bought this snow thrower brand new. Used it once for 30 minutes. Will not start anymore. Having a hard time getting it serviced through warranty. Very disappointed. January 30, 2012
Worked very well.... I bought my 924HV last week from a local dealer because I was tired of fixing my 20 year old previous blower. In that week I have used my new Husqvarna 3 times. The last use was a 5" snowfall and it handled it very well. I cleared my driveway and a neighbors, so I have been able to use the unit quite a bit and get used to it. It has plenty of power and the one-handed operation is great when I need to adjust the chute angle and rotation while on a run. The headlight is a new-to-me option and a great addition. It has been an easy one-pull start each time even without choking on a very cold days. I will say the unit is a bit heavy, but I didn't have the money to upgrade to the model with steering, so I guess I will have to live with that. I also find that the chute deflector won't adjust far enough down for me in some tight spaces. Not sure if that can be adjusted. That's a minor issue for now, though. Overall, I am pleased with my purchase so far. January 22, 2012
