We are pleased with this machine
We purchased the LGT2654 for our two acres and so far are very pleased with it (only has 16 hours of use). Purchase price was approx. $2300.00
It replaced a 2009 Cub Cadet LT 1040 that just wasn't up to the task and had to be worked on constantly in order to keep it going.
We ordered the LGT2654 through Lowe's online and they did not keep their delivery schedule, but that's a seperate issue.
When it did arrive it was (and still is) missing the storage pouch that mounts on the lower left side of the tractor.
Also the LED hour meter is so small, it's nearly impossible to see without glasses! These are minor issues and overall we are pleased with it's power, comfort and maneuverability. It has also the cut the required mowing time by about 25% and has a very nice and even cut.
We hope it lasts as long as our old 1994 Sears Craftsman GT 6000 (also with a Kohler engine), which is still running and has been donated to another family member. Time will tell, but we would recommend this tractor to anyone with 2 or more acres to mow.

A great tractor and mower for medium to large lawns
We have slightly more than an acre on top of a mountain. The terrain is varied and there's lots of hills. Most of the front and back yard are on a slope, so pulling the hill while mowing is not an easy job for a lightweight mower. The Husky pulls the hills and mows like a champ. Cleanup is easy with the deck washing port and I just love the 12v power point. By the way, it takes less than 30 minutes to mow that acre!

Transaxle failed after 510 hours.
Mower when new would slow down cosiderablely climbing a hill. After 500 hrs the mower now will not even go up a small hill. Cost of a new transaxle is over $1000. Motor still running great and tractor in fair shape but the transxale is diffently the weak link for long ter reliability... If U mow 2 acre or so 500 hrs will add up in about 5 years.

Purchased this tractor at the first of last year, had it in the service center twice. The second time I had the guy watch me cut some of the yard so he could see how poorly it cut. I had already talked to someone at Husqvarna and done all trouble shooting. When we got the mower back, the cutting season was over, so it was put in storage. Have used it this year and have to go over every inch of the yard at least twice, but usually more. If I didn't still owe money for this thing, I would burn it for the trash it is.

Less than 2 months old and cannot mow.
Front wheels are already out of line but not surprised. If you turn the front wheels to make a corner, sometimes the front end slides instead of rolling. Now they are out of line and wearing the tires.
I had a John Deere even a smaller model and never had this problem.

Power to Spare.
26 HP is a lot of power so you can cut tall grass fast .It does have a problem with wheel spinning but I fix my tractor with wheel weights .Now it can go up and down step hills with easy .

Will not go up hill
We purchased the tractor less than two years ago. At first we love it, cut good, comfortable, designed easy to use. Started to mow this year and notice the tractor started to get slower. After mowing a couple times the tractor would stop moving when mowing up a hill.
Changed the drive belt thinking that was the problem but did not resolve the issue. For the price I paid for this mower my expectation to would last longer than two year before having these problems.

This is my first rider. I have 2 acres and about 1.25 of that is irrigated pasture. Got tired of horses so I sold them and bought a rider to keep the grass mowed. This machine is great. It chews through 6-8 inch grass in the pasture with no problems. The 26 horse engine has power to spare even with the 54 inch cut moving up grade. On my lawn the cut is smooth and looks great. My neighbor liked the Husky so much he got rid of his ailing John Deere and bought a smaller model Husky. For the money I felt the LGT 2654 was the best buy after looking at Husky built Craftsman, John Deere, and Cub Cadet. In my search I tried not to get color blind and glad I didn't. After two months use I am impressed and feel the money was well spent on a quality product.
