HUSQVARNA FAST TRACTOR™ YTH24K48
FIRST RIDING MOWER
Purchased this mower in June 2013. It has 5hrs on the meter now and works flawlessly. The motor has enough HP to do the job. So far, I'm satisfied with this mower and hope to last for a while with proper maintainace. I think the price is just a bit stiff.

Made a move up!
Twice the mower of a John Deere that I gave to my son in-law. The Husqvarna is FAST -cut time by a third. Deck was easy to level, and no other adjustments were made . Motor has great power. Have ten plus hours on mower and only one concern- does not crank great when motor is hot, but does crank. Should have but an angle grease fitting on middle spindle. Have total of three Husqvarna lawn tools and they are great valve for money.

One month review
I purchased this mower as a backup/complementary mower to a commercial mower that I currently own. I have approximately 4 acres to cut and we've ended up reverting to this mower for most of the cutting.

Really like this tractor, has good power and speed. Have a hilly yard and it cuts very well. Have run it out of gas, bad location of fuel gauge, and after 2 cuts had to grease front wheels they were squeeking. Very good value and very happy to have such a nice machine. The fit is good and even in wet grass haven't had any problems. Best feature are the arm rests.

product a little disappointing
purchased from lowes but the front wheels where not greased and started squeaking badly after about 20 hours of run time. also, this tractor rides rough. you really get bounced around a lot. there is no seat shock absorbing system in these tractors. I a comparing this with my last tractor which was an inexpensive lawn general purchased from tractor supply.

I received my YTH24K48 lawn tractor and followed the steps outlined in owners manual upon removing it from its crate. Upon inspection I found the right front tire had only 7 PSI of pressure instead of being over inflated as the other tires were. I filled the tire up to the 14PSI required and tested the tractor. It operated flawlessly. It was well worth the money. The day after receiving the tractor I noticed the right front tire had lost air. I refilled it and it checked it after a few hours and found the tire had a slow leak, I called Power Equipment Supply and reported the leak, They ordered a new tire. In the mean time, I used a tire sealant to temporarily fix the tire. I received the tire but unfortunately, the slow leak is not covered under warranty so, I had to pay to have the tire fixed. At least i didn't have to pay for the replacement tire. Other than that I have no complains about this tractor.

Very good piece of equipment
I have had my husqie just a little over a munth, have cut 2.5 to 6 acers each time used, with that said ,it preforms as well as any other tractor I have owned. I'm 68 yrs old, so over the years I have had craftsman, roper and bolins tractors. This husqie is as good or not better then any of them. I will say that it is the most comfortable to ride of tham all though. If i get the service out of this husqie then I will be most satisfied!

I bought this for my husband after having a much bigger John Deere for only 5 years. I did a lot of online research before choosing this model based on customer reviews...it was the highest rated over all that I could find BUT then I discovered that it was NOT offered for sale in Canada....
I did MORE research and found a dealer over the border who was willing to order it for me and we drove down with a trailer to pick it up.
That was about 3 months ago and if I want to find my husband...he is out on the Husqvarna, hair blowing in the breeze with a wide grin on his face.
We have about 3 full acres of mow able ground on 6 acres, hilly as well as flat, around a lot of trees and that thing is AGILE, fast and powerful. It runs up the hills while cutting.. something the Deere would not...it would limp UP the hills but wouldn't cut decently, this thing charges up the hills and cuts a swathe in less time than the Deere ever could.
Because of that I bought tire chains for this tractor thinking we would have the same problem...they have not come out of the box!
My husband says that he has cut at LEAST a third of the time it used to take him to cut all of our grass...he doesn't have to go out every day just to have it finished in time to start all over again.
And, I love the little front end loader, climbing up on my bobcat is just to take a couple of bags of potting soil across the yard just seems like too much work.
And that smile...as he goes whizzing by on the Husqvarna...it would have been worth twice the price of the tractor!
But don't get me wrong...the price was GREAT for the value we are receiving!
