460 Rancher I'm a average homeowner with outdoor wood cutting chores to do.The 460 Rancher has served my expectations well.It is dependable starting saw and quieter than other brands. February 24, 2011
460 rancher This is a great saw, I have used it with an 18/20/ and a 24 inch bar and this machine works wonderful. Although if cutting above your head it does get a little heavy. February 24, 2011
I LIVE in the woods I live in northern Wisconsin. Up here a chainsaw is not a luxury, it’s a necessity. And a year round one at that. Spring, summer, fall or winter, trees are across the roads on a weekly basis. If you really want to put a saw to the test, cut up a frozen red oak at 25 below. You’ll know if a few minutes without Husqvarna... you’re in trouble. I put my Husqvarna in my truck before I put the dog in there, and my company name is "Big Dog Promotional Products". If I could have gotten away with it maybe I should have called it Big Husqvarna Promotional Products. Strength, Reliability, Dependability. February 24, 2011
460 Rancher This is the best chain saw I've ever owned. I was certainly glad when my old one died and I finally could buy a Husqvarna. It is the perfect sized for keeping my 40 acres debris free. It has plenty of power and does everything I need with confidence. I also appreciated buying it from a local business person. THANKS for not selling out!!! February 24, 2011
i love this saw i bought this saw at a local small engine shop, not a box store. he had it full of gas and oil, ready to go! it has good power, easy starts and easy to handle. it seems to use more fuel than my 450, but no big deal. excellent value! February 24, 2011
This chainsaw does the job I've done a lot of cutting with this saw and it cuts like a hot knife through butter. Starts fast and has enough torque to do the big jobs. February 24, 2011
Cutting cedar trees I am using this saw to cut fence posts on my ranch. Felling trees is a breeze with this saw. It's a consistent starter. The chain remains tightened throughout continuos cutting. Very powerful and reliable saw. I'm impressed with the overall performance of the saw. i recommend this saw to ranchers, farmers or persons who need more power and durability. February 24, 2011
Great saw except We've had this saw a little over a year. We heat our home with wood, so it has seen a lot of use over the last year. Overall, it has been a great saw. It is tons better than the saw we replaced it with. That being said, the last time the saw was used, my son had to stop prematurely because the part that tightens the chain is either jammed or broken. This just happened, so we haven't taken it to the repair shop yet. I am disappointed that the saw needs a repair just a year after we purchased it. February 24, 2011
