460 Rancher eats wood! Great power, reliability and ease of use. I use the saw for cutting, clearing and bucking on waterfront acreage. The saw has never let me down. Not the cheapest saw that you can buy but you get what you pay for. This is a top end consumer machine. Anything more and you are working with the pros! February 23, 2011

Husqvarna 460 Rancher I have owned many chain saws throughout my life, and the Husqvarna is indeed without question, the absolute "best of the best" I've ever had! "Bar none". The Husqvarna 460 Rancher has the power to tackle any job for its intended purposes, and makes very quick work of cutting even the largest of trees practically effortless. My son and I use roughly 40 cords of fire wood each heating season, and the Husqvarna makes turning this chore into almost a pleasure. I have found the Husqvarna chain saws to be extreamely durable and very reliable, and a "cut above" (pun intended) just about any other brand on the market. This is a saw that will be ready to work when you are, and with just a little maintenance, the Husqvarna will be one of those time tested valuable tools that can be handed down for generations. If you're thinking about getting a new chain saw, think no further than Husqvarna. I know you won't ever be dissapointed. I'm already looking forward to my next purchase of another Husqvarna 460 Rancher for my son, and so is he. :-) (side note) I got a birthday coming up soon, and I'm hoping the family will keep this old-timing dude in mind for a new Husqvarna zero turn lawn mower. :-) February 22, 2011
