this saw kicks but I bought this saw to clear about an acre of land. I have cut down small dead trees, to huge standing pine, never had a power issue, fuel consumption is great, as is oil usage. the only thing that wears is the chain - but that is normal. was out there two days ago yelling timber half the day. even used it with one of those tools to make boards, heavy work but he saw took it fine. too much work for me again - but not for the saw. great machine. thanks February 24, 2011
Husky saw sweet product... had a stihl before... love this one! February 24, 2011
average features Saw doesn't stand up to an Echo or Stihl. Goes through chains too fast. Chains don't stay sharp very long. February 24, 2011
Cuts like a hot knife through butter! Ok. So I know it's suppose to be "work". But when you go looking for things to cut-up just because you're so impressed how easy it is, it just doesn't fell like work any more. My Husqvarna 440 is easy to start, light weight, and cuts like a hot knife through butter. A nice piece of equipment. February 24, 2011
awsome chain saw this saw is perfect for the person that needs a very light ,easy to start chain saw . itb has all the power needed for the average joe ...highly recc to anyone February 24, 2011
easy to start and handle Bought this to clear about 15 unwanted trees. averaged about 10-12 inch in dia. This saw easily powered thru them and cut it all up easily. I love the way it feels to handle and it is very quiet as chainsaws go, husky has the balance thing right on. And the easiest saw to start I have had. The chain seems just as sharp as it was when I started the job. the only thing I was disappointed about was the lack of a decent blade cover. For the money this saw cant be beat! February 24, 2011
easy lightweight good handling I use this saw around my fence line to get into tight places and it does the job. I carry it on the back of my ATV in the woods. Thanks for a great saw. February 24, 2011
cold starts not a problem in nothern minnesota took her out of the shed on a cold negative 20 degrees below mourning and in three pulls she was idling, two minutes later I was laying down trees. I had used it 5 months earlier and it sat in the shed and it stayed there until the other mourning.. what more can ya say about a chainsaw..after all they better all cut wood but running good on old gas and below zero conditions, ya I like that!
