580bts has massive cfm to move lots of leaves.
The 580bts blower has massive amounts of cfm if you need to move large amounts of leaves. In fact it is almost too much power if you are trying to clean up the leaves on the curb but it is new to me and I may not have the skill with it yet. This blower is heavy and not for your average land owner but more for the professional. My only complaint is the flat tip it comes with is pretty much unusable as this blower has so much power it wears you out trying to hold the nozzle up as the tip forces the tube to the ground. This is to bad as it is good for removing stuborn leaves or stuff from the ground. Good news is it comes with a round one too that doesn't have this issue. If the throttle handle was not off to the side the flat nozzle might be easier to hold up as it would not have the twisting motion when being forced down by the massive wind velocity coming out of the tube. Great blower though starting on 2nd or at most third pull. Needs good hearing protection as it is loud.

This Product Exceeded My Expectations
I own just over 1/2 acre of land with plenty of huge trees in my back yard. I've been using a backpack blower from a different manufacturer that is highly rated, but it lacked the power that I needed to clear my property. I purchased the Husky 580BTS and what a difference. In a nutshell, the power of this machine significantly reduces the time it takes to clear my land. If anyone is looking for a powerful backpack blower, owns property where it is not practical to use a handleld blower, and the property has lots of large trees that consistently drops twigs, branches and leaves, the Husky 580BTS is the tool for you. By the way, I discovered another use fot the blower, because of the power, it does a great job at dethatching...

Product is very nice!
I love the design of the handle and trigger system. It is very comfortable and light weight compare to other brands. It seems to use less gas as well, very efficient. I do have one concern with my blower, it does not shut off properly after use. When I shut it off it continues to sputter for a few seconds before finally shutting down.

Out of the box and on to work
After receiving the 580BTS blower I assembled it using the well documented directions, put fuel mix into it and was off working in minutes. I am very happy with the power, ease of starting and the fact that it was ready to begin work so soon after arriving without any tinkering. Thank you Husqvarna!

Buy This Blower!
I tried purchasing this blowing from every local store, they were all sold out. I finally found one in another state and picked it up immediately. Assembly is simple if you fully read the directions. You may need two people to assemble the nozzle assembly. Once it is fully assembled fill with 50:1 mixed fuel and prime till all air bubles are gone from the clear tube off the carb. Adjust the throttle to almost the lowest setting, chocke-on, and it should start on the second pull. This blower will blower almost anything you put in front of it without heavily consuming fuel. However, this is a large blower is meant for commercial use. Someone who has back problems or not very strong should consider a lower model. My previous was a 150BTS which is perfect for a homeowner who loves power equipment and the price is unbelievable for what you get. You will need ear plugs or headsets. I recommend the Husqvarna AM/FM headset which cutts out the blower noice and allows you to listen to the radio.
