AWESOME!!
My Husband bought this for me 2 years ago, and to this day, starts right up, ease in starting, low maintenance, has cut most of the logs I needed to cut. I Love It!! Been cutting and splitting and selling firewood for 2 years now and have NO complaints!!

This saw runs and handles well.
Easy start. Good balance. Light for a saw with 24" bar. Cuts well.

Great saw for the farm
The 24" bar makes quick work of big trees. Easy to start. great addition to my smaller saw.

Was sold a DUD
just 3 weeks ago i purchased a 460 rancher. From the first time I started it, it act right! It was an excellent saw when it was running after letting off the throttle it would idle for a few seconds and then cut off. Would start right back up most of the time. Before i could finish my first job not even 6 engine hours on it the engine just stops! Take it too my local husqvarna dealer and they tell me husqvarna prolly is not gonna warranty this. I spent 485.67 cents on this saw and now it is sitting in a shop while husqvarna has a mechanic doing extensive testing to try to get out of fixing or giving me a new saw!!! What the heck is up with this husqvarna?????

A really good chain saw
After viewing the online video on how to operate this chain saw, I had no problem with starting it. I am seventy years old and despite the fact that I had broken my left wrist just four month prior, I had no difficulty with handling my new chain saw. I was amazed by how fast I was able to cut down a six foot high tree. And after trimming the branches off with my Husqvanna 445, the Husqvanna 460 quickly sliced through of the thick parts. I wil soon have enough wood to heat my home for this winter.
P.S. I wish that I never had any Stihl saws.

Potential Buyer-460 Rancher
I've used Husqvarna saws for a number of years. The last model 360 had some issues with exhaust bolts becoming loose, which ruined my saw. Despite that, I'm sold on Husqvarna saws. Today, I'm travaling to a local dealer to check out the 460 Rancher. Just through the website intro and talking with the dealer, this saw lends itself to our needs. Since we have a number of trees down from Irena, the 460 Rancher should get a good workout. I plan to report back in the future.

Awesome Saw
I needed to upgrade to a bigger saw and the 460 fits all the needs. It does everything. I cut 30-40 full cord of hard wood every year and I love this saw. I looked around for a year at all the brands of saws and came back to Husqvarna. The power of the 460 makes cutting a breeze, it handles any chore I can throw at it. I can use this all day with ease

460 Rancher
When I grew up, my family had the 455 Rancher; I always had a great experience with the saw until somebody put straight gas into it once. When I decided to buy my own, I decided to upgrade and get the 60cc version. I've been really happy with the power and responsiveness of the saw. Over the years, I've seen a lot of the body go from aluminum to plastic. Not so sure how I like that but we'll see how it holds up over the next few years.
