HUSQVARNA 372 XP®
My New 372XP
After I realized my equipment requirements had expanded beyond the 455 Rancher as my biggest saw I went to my dealer for advise. He directed me to the 372XP . I took his advise and bought one with a 24" bar and 28" bar with a couple loops of chain each. When I put the 24" full comp full chisel chain against a 22" log of seasoned black locust it sliced through it like a hot knife through butter. I was very impressed to say the least. Next I put the 28" bar on with full skip full chisel chain and layed into the locust log agin with the same results. Next test was a 48" diameter Red Oak log been laying in the back yard since September 2011. I squeezed the throttle and layed the 28" bar on the log and it ate through it with authority. Very impressed again. The old 455 Rancher is a great saw no doubt but this professional grade 372XP saw is a whole 'nother critter. I had to try something I had read about these saws that you could throttle down during a cut and then throttle back up and actually regain RPMS. In that same Red Oak log with a 28" bar I tried it ( with me leaning on it pretty hard) and to my great surprise it worked. AMAZING! I highly recommend Husqvarna saws in general but this saw's power to weight ratio, antivibe characteristics and general versatility make it an exceptional choice in my eyes at least. I highly recommend this saw to anyone whose demands are above what consumer grade saws can deliver. The price warrants it being used often but it is worth every penny.

What a Saw!
Very powerful saw to handle anything you might need it too! Will cut through through even the toughest trees without slowing down or missing a beat. I run a 28" bar on mine and have been able to cut through some very large trees with ease! Be sure to adjust the oiler depending on what size bar you are running on the saw. Would put this saw up against any other saw out there. A little pricy but well worth it.

I own 4 372 and i am very pleased with what i have. We use our saws alost daily for limbing, topping, and even felling. The saw is great on the logging site and i can use it to cut firewood as well. You can run this saw all day and it wont kill your arms. The power is great, and it cuts through hardwood like ash, oak, and hard maple with ease. I have never really had any problems with your saws and will look to buy more in the future. Stihl doesn't touch this. Thanks for a great product

Best Saw i ever have owned
i have owned a number of chain saws over the years and my 372XP stands above them all! i have cut wood along side many, many people using STIHL saws that were as big or bigger than my Husk and not one of them could ever keep up with my 372XP! If you are looking for the best, buy a Husqvarna. i have been cutting wood for 40 years and i know a few things about chain saws. My 372XP is 8 years old and hasn't given me one problem, runs as good as it did the day i bought it!

This is a great product!
I cut a tremendous amount of firewood each year to keep 2 outdoor boilers going. One for myself and one for my aging parrents. I've owned several saws over the years and and have tried several different brands. After experiencing saw troubles durring the fall of 2011, I decided to purchase a new saw. I was not sure what to buy this time since I had tried various makes. I had experienced so-so performance with each saw. I decided that I would try a Husqvarna after visting a dealer. I explained that I wanted a proffesional saw that would get the job done. He suggested the 372 XP, so I purchased one. This is no doubt, the best saw that I've ever owned. From the first time I started it, I could tell that this saw had the power and when I sunk it in a log squeezing the throttle, I knew that I bought the right saw. This is a saw that has great power and will drop though a log in seconds. I starts great hot or cold.
