My first Husqvarna
Well I recently moved to the country and needed a saw to cut firewood as that is our only source of heat in the winter. This saw is very easy to start as long as you follow the directions. My saw came with a 20" bar and it is just a little large for this saw. Once you drop down to the 18" bar and chain it is a beast of a machine. First thing to do is get rid of that useless safety chain that comes with the saw and have one made for it. Some of the parts feel a little cheap as they are plastic however for the price can't complain to much.
Overall an excellent saw for the money and it does have that "Husky" sound!!!!

Chainsaw
A very high quality chainsaw compared to others in it's category. Much safer and more reliable than similar chainsaws I have owned. It has better safety features, rugged reliability, long term endurance. It is easy to start even after sitting unused for months at a time. I highly recommend this saw and caution buyers against cheaper competitors-please compare these saws based upon safety, reliability, and quality, versus just looking at price. A bad chainsaw can ruin your life. (I am a former professional carpenter)

Husqvarna 450
Very powerful & light weight.
Main jet has to be adjusted to get max power, too lean from factory. Should not need special tool to adjust carb.
Hard to start w/automatic chock.. Should have a regular choke. I also have an echo cs-4400. It is much easier to start. Only advantage of Husqvarna is power.
Overall, a good saw, but could stand improvement.

450 X-torq
I have used this saw a couple of times and found it very adequate for home use. Easy to start and runs very well, without any hickups. Gas comsumption is very good, it runs a very long time without refueling.

Home owner
Upgraded my craftman w/ the husqvarna and go thru over 4 cord a season. The power the feel and results are great. Would certainly recommend this saw for a home owner / hobby farmer that we are.

Eay to handle, smooth starting
Never having owned a chainsaw before, I was pleasantly surprised at the ease of operation of this Husqvarna saw. The owner's manual gave me clear, complete, and thorough instructions and I was cutting through a downed oak after only a few minutes of study.

Easy handling
I found it to be easy starting and excellent power.IThese things are v ery good because of my shoulder problems. Have used it for a year and have had no mechanical problems.

Great SAW
