Chain Saw review. I've had and used many different chain saws, this model is by far the easiest to use as well as being far superior to all the others. note: even the chain is staying as sharp as new after 1 month of use of approx. 20 hrs. Thanks, I highly recommend this product and have done so to others. April 16, 2014
EZ START If you follow the starting directions printed on the saw, it starts on the second pull every time, very good power to weight ratio, well balanced, a pleasure to use, the only down side is the chain size, I wish it had a bigger pitch chain, no problem though, when this bar and chain are wore out I will switch them to a larger one. Powerful saw I have the 450 rancher 20" bar model that I got a lowes. Bought this saw to clean up after a storm and take down a few trees on my lot. Operating and setup Instructions were clear and saw started right. Cut through trees with very little effort. I look forward to getting to use it again. March 15, 2014
awesome saw for price This saw is a great value, power to weight is impressive. I have been running saws for a long time between fire fighting and firewood cutting, and I'm definitely impressed. March 10, 2014
Brand New, will not start Just purchased a few days ago. Purchase was based on all of the good reviews that I had read. Fueled and put chain oil in it, followed the start up procedures from the manual. Will not start, gave up after an hour. I'm having problems even before I got it registered. Do not buy. March 9, 2014

450 Chainsaw features The saw starts easily,(I like the primer bulb). It has plenty of power and it has a good weight to power (not too heavy for long time use). The saw appears to be made of quality material and construction. I have owned many chainsaws over the years and notice that all have more plastic parts these days. I hope this saw will prove to be durable over the long term. As for the few times I have used it so far it has preformed in an excellent manner. January 10, 2014
Hard to take apart and put back together! Do not buy this saw! It's bad features outweigh the good. If you don't take the chain cover off EXACTLY right (break disengage)...then you will have to take it to the shop and risk breaking the cheap plastic inside the housing to fix it. Yes, pieces get lodged in other pieces! This at least happens twice a year. Other saws have simpler mechanisms that make taking the chain on and off very easy. This model is the worst I have ever seen for ease of operator maintenance. I seriously regret the day I bought it. You could potentially spend just as much time fixing this saw as you would actually getting work done. I don't have a clue how this product got any good reviews at all. Maybe their saw has a different mechanism? I got the bad one. Id go with any other saw but this one. If I had not bought this saw in another state then I would have taken it back the second I realized it had that unwieldy mechanism. Now I'm out hundreds of dollars and just want to get rid of it and get something I can get work done with. I don't want repairs done under warranty... I want something that I can get work done with and not have to deal with this ridiculousness. December 26, 2013
