awesome powerful saw
all husky pro saws are awesome and full of power. the 395 xp is the third saw i have purchased and the most powerful. when felling large diameter trees the 395 has endless power and an ease to use. power to weight ratio is good and the saw is well balanced.

A great purchase1
At 57 years old, I've never had the need to own or operate a chainsaw before recently purchasing my Husqvarna. The border of our yard has a dozen 12' pines that were in desperate need to trimming/grooming from the ground up. There was no way this would have been accomplished without the use of a chainsaw. I found the operating instructions easy to understand with a chainsaw that was very dependable. For a first time user, I am impressed and would recommend a Husqvarna to anyone considering the purchase of a chainsaw. Thank you, Husqvarna! :)

I am loving my new 359
After running a 49cc Jonsered into the ground this thing feels like a driving a Lamborghini after getting off a horse. I had read many reviews on the internet saying how hard it is to start but after talking to my dealer and running it there at the shop I decided to go ahead and buy it. I've only had it 2 weeks and have cut about 6-7 cord, it has always started on the 3rd or4th pull when cold and most of the time on the first pull when warmed up. I really like the Anti-Vid set up, after a day of running it my hands and wrist are not a sore as running the lighter, older Jred. I have a 24' bar and a wrap around handle on it and like the weight and balance of the machine. The only negative thing I would have is that the choke/stop pulls are plastic and may break expeccially when operating in cold weather

Husqvarna to the tornado clean up rescue!
My brothers home and lot with 70+ trees were destroyed by a tornado that hit Merrill, Wisconsin in Apr 2011. Several friends and family and other volunteers showed up and there were a dozen makes of Chain Saws present, and I had the opportunity to witness them working to clean up the mess. By far the most consistent chain saw present, was the Huskvarna 395 xp, which outperformed the others. It worked 12+ hours per day, constantly sawing the 100foot white pines that fell on his property, including his home, garage, cars snowmobile trailer. While most of the saws present were worked to their max, the only one which strained the least and performed the best was the husqvarna that was present.
