My First Personal Saw I just bought this saw, and WOW. I'm impressed to say the least. Its super light and its amazingly comfortable to work with all day. However, its dosn't have ALOT of torque, but it's a speed saw, as long as you let the saw do the work, the job will be done and your hands won't get sore. April 6, 2013
Great saw I bought this saw about a year ago. This saw I use more than the 455 rancher and the big saw 570. I own all Husqvarna saws, they are the best. Have run a stihl do not like them. I cannot plug nose with a stihl. Husqvarna no problem. This saw is light weight have a 16 inch bar on saw and the power is great . Just a wonderful saw to cut small firewood to big 20 inch tress. This saw cuts like a champion. Does really good in oak, locas, maple, any wood that you chew at. Works great with a new chain but remember ya do have to sharpen them. Dremel works best. Great average chainsaw Bought in april 2012 and used for 3 hours strait cutting a 24" diameter tree. It had no issues whatsoever with the 20" bar I got with it. The teeth are very professional compared to the regular "homeowner" saws. In my opinion this should be the entry level saw as it is powerful enough to do any job except in big logging co.. The new starting method is very easy. Also the lo-vib handle is a must-have. Go to a dealer and check out the 3 huge springs yourself. When it idling on the ground, the engine and bar shake, but the handles are nice and still. I also didn't have to assemble anything because my dealer did it all. November 19, 2012
Easy to handle without giving anything up I picked this saw up from the local dealer. Went in with the intention of picking up a 450, but given a recent hurricane he was out of stock. He suggested either a 445 for a bit less money or this saw for a bit more. What sold me is that this is the saw that makes up his rental fleet and can stand up to constant use by even the goofiest of homeowners well enough to be a viable business model. Good enough for me. Swapped to an 18" blade, it made short work of numerous oak without a hiccup. It feels perfect, lightweight, and comfortable to use. No more numb hands, and so far it's been really easy on gas. 100% satisfied with my purchase and my dealer. November 3, 2012

great chainsaw I just bought a husqvarna 353 to replace my old 350. I can't tell you how well it eats through oak logs. My new saw starts easy and has tons of power. It is a pleasure to cut wood with this saw. May 7, 2012
First time chainsaw owner long time user. I am a first time home buyer and had a tree that fell on my fence when I bought the place. I needed a chainsaw and borrowed my fathers OLD Echo and it was terrible. I decided it would be a good investment and started looking at saws. I was pretty set on the 455 Rancher but I was shown the 353 and decided to go with that one. I took it home and got to work. In about an hour i was done cutting through a full tree and was having so much fun and the saw was so light with little vibration I was trimming other trees on my property. The saw is so easy to use has so much power and cuts so nice I have never used a saw quite like it. I recommended it to my father and plan on letting him use it to see the difference. My friends who are die hard Stihl fans have used it once or twice and are looking to sell their chainsaws. One last pro is the side mounted chain tensioner. February 16, 2012
Dirty Work Bought this chainsaw over a week ago and have put it to work everyday. Tears through everything from 1 inch tag alders too 20 some inch poplars. Have had no problems with Chains breaking or getting dull. I recommend light or winter bar oil as if not cleaned has a hard time spinning the chain. Cost more then I'd like but came with a 3 year warranty and you do get what you pay for. Best Chainsaw I have ever owned or used. Thank you Husqvarna this will make clearing the property alot easier.
