Comments about ST 151:
I have a basic suburban home near Detroit, average cement drive way. I can't justify the size of a two stage where I live, but wanted one with a powerful enough engine to handle the heavy city plow mess at the end of the drive. First year, it was great, enjoyed the lights, enjoyed the remote chute positioning and the ease of starting. Now the not great news. For a 208cc motor that is from the larger 2 stage blowers, it seems weak. This snow blower is hard to push, and does not seem to have that assist from the auger that many single stages have. The scraper design gets caught on side walk expansion joints easier than any other snow blower I have ever used. Get used to crab walking this snow blower. Another design issue is that the scraper leaves a trail snow on either side by the wheels. Heavy snow pushes the snow chute back to the straight position. BTW I wish the snow chute would go beyond 90 degrees to help prevent blowing snow back on parts I already cleared. The Snow blower started having problems with the LED lights working and not working, related to poor connections. The snow blower had developed a oil leak that seems be to coming from the cylinder head or engine block joint. Engine has a tough time to keep from surging. Surging problem seems to be wide spread with these LCT engines. Count on cleaning the carb air inlets constantly. I have only been able to get the snow blower to run off of partial choke maybe 1 or two times. Always seems like I need some choke on this unit.Muffler fell off. Broke right at the weld joints. Not well supported in design, and you can hear it chatter as you use the snow blower off the top of the engine, it is cantilevered and the vibration of the engine shakes it at the welds. To properly drain the carb, you need to remove the rear covers, which is a pain to get the screw clips to line back up. I have taken the covers on and off so many times the covers and screws no longer fit well.

Snow dribbles out. Does not work well at all.
from Northville, MI
2nd season with this. In snow fall of 1 inch or more, it chokes. It either pushes it into a pile in the front of it or "throws" it approximately 1-3 inches into the next aisle you are going to do. Call Husky Customer Service phone number and they flat out said there is nothing they can do.
should have bought another manufacture brand snow blower
from uniontown pa.
after using the brand new snow blower for 2 hours the auger stopped working. even with a extended warranty the service company wants to charge a fee for a technician to evaluate the blower and a fee for pick up and delivery, since we only had 4 inches of snow i guess that was to much for the husqvarna ST-151.

this is an excellent machine.
from Aurora, Colorado
My first use was on 12/18/2016. we received 8" of snow overnight. Got up checked everything before use, and off I went. It worked so well we plowed three driveways and walkways and was finished in about half an hour. Easy to use, powerful and actually fun to use. We live in Colorado. I would recommend this ST151 to anyone who will listen. THANKS

About Me Novice
Purchased this snowblower from my local husqvarna dealer for personal use since I am unable to shovel snow due to open heart surgery. The first use the lights quit working and when I went to my dealer much to my surprise they were gone! Shop was closed permantley and not a notice from no one. So I was unable to get the headlights fixed so I did without them. This year, my 2nd full year I put fresh gas in the machine as I always get the gas out and do not leave it in the machine when not in use, I started the blower and let it run for about 10 mins. Then we got a big storm, went out to start the blower and it would not start. Took it to the only authorize center 20 miles away and it cost me 148.00 for the repair. I called husqvarna customer service and was told I had to supply the receipt of the day I purchased the blower to see if it was covered by warranty. Of course I do not have a receipt because there was a registration card filled out along with a copy of the purchased from the dealer that went out of business. The amazing thing is that dealer is still listed on the husqvarna website and they have been gone for almost 2 years. So no warranty! Just so everyone knows I also have a 48inch tractor with a Kohler motor which is also a husqvarna.

Just bought this in December 2015 and we just finished cleaning the Driveway and Sidewalks. It performed better than I thought it would. I always work with the storm and plan on clearing areas several times ( we had 30" of Snow this time). Clears 6" of snow at a time easily. I had no problems and was able to throw Snow where I wanted it. I don't mind going out multiple times during a storm because I get Cabin fever. Very Happy with this machine.

Awesome snow thrower
Comments about Husqvarna ST 151:
I live in New England, specifically in the higher elevations of Connecticut where we get a lot of snow. This snow blower has gotten a lot of use this year-we have had 4 feet in the past 3 weeks, with more to come. I LOVE THIS SNOW BLOWER. it is actually a snow thrower--single stage. My previous machine was an expensive 2 stage Ariens with all the bells and whistles. It was very heavy and difficult to maneuver. The Husqvarna is light, easy to start (electric start), has LED lights that are bright, and it just eats up the snow. I can blast through my driveway in no time. It can handle up to roughly 8". If I get heavy, wet snow that has been rained on, or a monster storm that drops 20" before I can get to it, then I have my driveway plowed. But that is somewhat rare. The Husqvarna handles 90% of all storms we get. I highly recommend it.
