Poor cutting performance
Leaves large clumps of grass no matter the height or discharge mode being used. I have to either mow the lawn twice or constantly kick the clumps into the next path to disperse. I bought this mower because of the name Husqvarna. I'm very disappointed in the performance of this mower, it goes without saying I will never buy another mower from Husqvarna.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Engine trouble from the time of purchase
Bought this mower on March 25, 2015 from AgCentral Co-op in Maryville, TN. Thought I was purchasing a top of the line mower. Got it home, put in fresh gas and did all the preparation according to instructions. It started up quickly but after running it 15 minutes, it started sputtering, losing power, slowed down and finally stopped. Called the place where purchased and they said let it cool and try it again, as it is new and just needs to be run a bit more. Did as told, it ran as it supposed to to for a few times and then started doing the same thing. I thought maybe it was the gas, put in fresh again. Checked the oil, the filter and everything else. Still acts the same. I've cut the grass with it a few more times and about half way through the yard, it starts the same thing again. I called AgCentral Co-op again and they told me to take off the carburetor and check it out. I don't think thats my job on a new mower 3 months old. Being tired of this, I took it back to AgCentral Co-op and asked to exchange it for a different model, one with a Honda engine. They have not been very accommodating and said they can't do that. I should have purchased this at Lowes, I know they would treat me better.
Perfect for steep yard
I wish I would have purchased this type of mower years ago.PositivesPulled me up steep yard (8%+ grade) with much less effort than my previous front-wheel drive mower.I can operate this one handed going up the hill or while mowing sideways on the hill.Grass clipping are much finer than my old mower, bag design seems to maximize the amount of clipping versus old mower.Ergonomic- two handed operation is a dream. You control how fast you want the mower to pull you. Very simple and easy!Easy start- only had to pull with little effort one time, every time to start the mower.Neutral-The hose connection to clean under the mower deck was a nice touch but really did not appear to do too much.NegativeIf you have driven a four-wheel drive vehicle you know what it is like to turn the wheel from a dead stop. Pivoting the mower on turns takes some getting used to.Mower seems heavier on turns, but lighter while operating, since the mower pulls you at the pace you want.Front wheels did come of the ground slightly when the bag was at capacity and I was going straight up the hill. This is the most I have ever spent on a mower so my expectations were high since I wanted an all-wheel or four-wheel drive to help mow my steep yard. So far, so good.I highly recommend.

A review from someone with experience
from SW Indiana
I have been mowing, trimming and raking lawns since I was 12 years old. So here is my review of the Husqvarna HU725AWDH;Fit and Finish: This unit is very well designed with all parts locking tight with no unique issues at the wheels or at the pull start motion as is what is common with other manufacturers (Toro, Troybuilt).Controls: It doesn't get any easier than pulling down the clutch and giving a good rip on the pull cord and having this one turn right on. FYI, just a small note, this unit can go pretty fast, so expect a fast walk behind it.Deck: The deck has a logical flow to allow grass and waste to be blown or wiped away. In addition, it has a water hose inlet at the top with a supplied nozzle converter which allows you to clean away the underside of the deck and blades (one of the reasons we purchased it).Cutting: Although the unit is new, cutting the grass was very easy and I was able to get my lawn done in 30% less time. This left time to address other issues in the yard and today, I can walk away tired, but satisfied that my work is done for next two weeks. The sound of the mower is 80% quieter as compared to our former Toro.Speed: Wear comfortable shoes, because you can walk very fast behind this one, but don't have to.Comfort: If I had to put one small negative, it would be here. The handle will require a firm grip for sure. Keeping both the clutch and the gas engaged at times could wear your hands out after two or three hours of mowing. If I were speaking directly to the engineers at Husqvarna, I would ask them to develop and a system where you didn't have to hold all of it at the same time.Overall rating 9.5 out of 10

Mower is not balanced
My mower died after 30 days, currently in the repair shop. It just wouldn't start as I only used it for the fourth time. Additionally, the mower is unbalanced when you use the grass catcher.
